  1. Hamsters are raised in the third house away from the brown house If hamsters were 1, would third house away be 3 houses over (7) or 3 houses between (9)?
  2. This is what I've got for odd categories. Anyone else get the same?
  3. That would be nice. I tried 3 or so times and I'm convinced there's either a contradiction or I'm misinterpreting one of the clues. If I remember correctly, my problem keeps having something to do with Kenya and HK.
  4. A while back, I made a family tree. Several generations back, I found a single person in more than one person's line. It might have been an error. 2^N ancestors in a generation assumes no one had children with their sibling, cousin, or otherwise related person. Apparently, in my tree, someone married a relative. The same assumption is made for 2^N descendants. Interesting wiki page. Never heard of that before.
  5. I was addressing the first line about the potential for overpopulation. Not the question itself.
  6. In terms of overpopulation, let's start with one couple. They have two children. If they were the only family in the world, they'd have to have the children together. So instead of doubling, the next generation would still only have two people. Two people are giving birth to two people. Later generations repeat. Assuming each couple has one boy and girl. Eventually the older generations will die so while the population would increase at first, you'd eventually hit a limit. Maybe 3 or 4 generations. Obviously there's more than one couple in the world but I would think each generation would have
  7. Depending on when your country switched over, it could be up to 13 I think not yet accounting for the date line and leap days!

Zero previous guesses and no other info? I needed luck or a miracle. But wow, this took off fast...

Ooh. It's been a while. ROLLO - Logic: At this point, I don't need logic.
  10. Anyone having any luck? I keep running into contradictions and I can't tell whether or not it's just me. . .
  11. Assuming buddyboy did the same thing as me, he's got a spreadsheet with 20 something variables. No way you're going to fit that all on the screen at a readable size.
  12. Reading through your answers to bonanova. To clarify, you use the 5th house to mean 5th from the left at times. But in 113, above the 5th house means above #5? Don't see an answer to 201 and not understanding the one to 217. Can you clarify?
  13. No worries. I think I've got my spreadsheet straightened out. I hope. . . Most of the difficulty right now is in the size. Won't know just how difficult until the end. The last time I made a board game was 6th grade and it turned out pretty weird. . . I'll leave the board game development to you and maybe bononova. Couple questions 9. The Aston Martin is parked at the house next to the magenta car - The magenta car is parked at a house. The Aston Martin is next door? 66. The cyan car is parked
  14. ... Oh God. I had DIY as an occupation and an anemone as a pet... @bonanova I'm still working on it. Wish I had a bigger screen to view my 305 by KS spreadsheet though. XD
  15. ...Well, there goes my spreadsheet. Also, when you say one house is to the right or left of another, I assume you mean right and left as shown in the diagram, not from the point of view of someone standing in the street?
  16. I started with making a 4x4 using the factor distribution numbers DejMar mentioned. After a combination of the above and a lot of guessing. . .
  17. Hi larali, welcome to the den! The site crashed a while back and a lot of us either aren't active anymore or as active as we used to be. Not as many responses in this section as there used to be. On the bright side though, new people like you! Don't let school grades make you think you're not smart. "Smart" isn't all about school grades. Sounds like you've had some challenges others haven't had to deal with. That just makes any achievements that much more impressive. Anyway, hope you enjoy it here.
  18. @bonanova The numbers
