  6. religious debate

So to bring this back a bit perhaps, there's a cool episode of the ted radio your podcast called believers and doubters. I think its worth listening to, and its free to download as a podcast on iTunes. Also, even as an atheist, I go to catholic school now. And while religion is definitely a part of the school, I found it to be the most accepting school that I've ever been in, with around 50% of the school being non-catholic.
  7. It Appears to be Over

I'm back for the next two minutes at least. My journey on brain den began when I was trying to learn how to think. But I'm eighteen now (I STARTED HERE NOT EVEN A TEENAGER AND NOW IM AN ADULT WHAT?!) and with websites like lumosity and fit brains, people can now exercise their brain without having to rely on other people for answers and questions. Its the idea of having a better brain without having to debate or argue with other people. This site doesn't promise results and the others do. And in a world where everyone wants to get a year and be the best, I don't think people see an intelligent community as enticing as something that promises to make you better, the improved you. I'm not sure how to present an argument of "we should" or "we shouldn't" do this or that. I think if we look at the sites that promise brain developments, we can see that they divide games into categories. They'll say how this game improved focus and that game improves memory and so on. If people can show that brain den can improve this or that section of the brain, we could attract those who seek to "improve their intelligence."
  8. Smoking pot makes you forget!

    Welcome welcome! enjoy your stay!
  9. Telephone

Most of you have heard of this game, right? One person would think of a phrase, then whisper it to another person, and then they would whisper it to ANOTHER person, and so on. Eventually, there would be no more people to whisper it to, and so the last person would say it out loud and everyone would ROFL (roll on the floor laughing), because it was so unlike the first. Now, i wanted to start another game because i was bored, so i thought of this: 1) people sign up (8 - 15 people) and i would PM the first person th phrase. 2) that person would change the words, but make it still have the same meaning (so if there was 'elephants like soup' someone might change it into 'Big gray animals love liquidy food' to 'huge light black living things enjoy watery meals'. Does that sound kind of like the beginging?) 3) the the first person would PM the second person (the list would be on here) their version, and so on. 4) at the end, we all die from laughter (or just think, was this game stupid?). Who knows?? Who's in?? Host: Peace* 1) 2) 3)
  10. The Green Glass Doors

Green glass doors...i make up a rule, and you ask words to see what gets though the "green glass doors". when you think you know the rule, put it in a spoiler. words dont have to be in a spoiler... ready? go!!!
  11. **note: i didn't make this riddle up. I saw it, and i saw the answer and i liked it. A married leader and a single slave The toothless elder now gone to his grave The death for which the younger took the blame Committed by the one he could not name They've ten between them, ten that do not see Now name the leader and his enemy.

  17. Cyber Anonymity

Personally, i find it both dangerous and freeing. Trusting people on the internet is something that has never been a problem for me, although i would never meet up with someone alone and without knowing who they are. My name is Jenny. This is not an alias, and I'm perfectly fine with using my own name. I use it often. I trust a lot of people on the internet with my personal information. Im friends with a lot of denizens on fb. However, i dont think any of them know my address. They could, I'm sure, but I know who I friend. I make sure theres a life behind the profile. In the end, i believe in the right of it. But its a power that has to be wielded carefully. Trust wisely.
  18. Blonde Jokes
