Question

Back Aches

Power Couples

Old Legends

Following Form

Rest Stop

Spare Tires

Credit Watch

Talk Smack

Substractors

For each word of each line above, find synonyms that are anagrams.

For example: Cut Open --> Reduction/Introduce

Scared ya? think these are hard enough as it is so will say that all the answers are five letter words.

Following Form ~ Relay Layer?

Talk Smack ~ Wordy Rowdy?

@dD. Man, where have you been. Good to see you again.

Way too much work & studying lately... I usually try to check in from time to time and see what's going on, but normally all the good puzzles are already solved by the time I get here shrug.gif

yeah, Wilson, nah.

thanks for the Update dD. hope that work and study thing eases up.

she's back, too oooo. nice solve t_l. thought this one would be tough as neither of the two clue words give early suggestions to the answer, imo. even had an alternate at the ready.

answering your question first i-s - yes. your first answer doesn't quite work as the second word goes from plural to singular and possessive. your second answer is closer yet...

teehee

yes, yippee

the remaining two are solved the same as the others. no extra trick to the last one this time. thinking on how i might have come up with the last clue should suggest which word to start with but would recommend starting with the second word in the other one.

since it hasnt been guessed yet, I'll say:

sober bores. but i dont really see it as quite fitting

that's it

the definition of tire as an intransitive verb is to become weary with or bored. the spare-sober connection is as an adjective meaning not excessive, plain, simple, subdued.
