Nice try Plasmid but Fabpig nailed it.Broom wild grass cut from mother nature's pate and gathered into a bunch, fanned and tied to a wooden stick (pole, branch). Gathers dust (amassing) and high or low can refer to corners or the witch's ride, sleight of hand hinting at magic (witch) and also use of hands for toilsome work.
