An IV? Or a doctor/nurse who administers the IV? ... Better: An umbrella. Or even a candle. hey M M - man, too many good answers here. and especially in your previous post. not yet a mouth? hey LJ - not that, a different kind of sucker. 0 Molly Mae
I think I'm too close to this riddle to find the answer. I'm going to take a short sabbatical and come back to it with a fresh set of eyes. @PG: I can't stop thinking of Shakee now. @All [and a bit off-topic]: Can anyone get him back here? 0 plainglazed
A lightbulb? I can see that some but not it, Thalia. tie a knot? hey LJ - 'fraid not Is it a nose or a sneeze? The truth, a lie or a secret. Man I hate guessing hey you - not either of those. somewhere back was hinted that this answer is an inanimate tangible object, btw and fwiw. think this one has to be solves shortly. but in the mean time I guess, que sera sera hmmmehhhvehhhwihhhbehhhhwhhhhhbehhh I think I'm too close to this riddle to find the answer. I'm going to take a short sabbatical and come back to it with a fresh set of eyes. @PG: I can't stop thinking of Shakee now. @All [and a bit off-topic]: Can anyone get him back here? Dont have a clue how to get Shakee back. In my time here he has dropped in I think three times for a spate of riddles then broken off. You could try a PM. He may get email notification. And as for this riddle M M - I hope you take a look at this and give it another go. You have 90% of my reasoning in one of your answers in post #101. Probably should just mark as solved it's so close. Maybe will after a few more guesses. Oh and how's the head? I'm desparately rehydrating this a.m.

0 plasmid
Though scalding if it's left unchecked With me it brings no fear. The coffee cup with me's bedecked, A sleve to block its sear. (I would have said coffee mug handle, but the word "handle" appears in the riddle itself) And IDK why my ISP will no longer connect to brainden. It seems to be the only website it won't load. But at least I just now found out that I can get on by routing through my university's remote login, so I should be able to drop in from time to time again
0 plainglazed
This one is solved. EDM was first with the specific answer sought but credit also goes to Molly Mae and heyupal (see spoiler) Molly Mae got the jist of the clues with "Cup" and heyupal with "Coffee Cup" is a little more specific as I think of a coffee cup requiring a handle. EDM's "Mug" completes the clues being synonomous with "face" as in the rewrites ( and ) or "comically face" per the OP as in mug for the camera. Meant that Otherwise/Else bit to seperate this meaning of mug from the other clues. Also the title Sucker as in a patsy, mark, dupe, or mug. Think this one was unreasonably worded but learned alot about what to say and not in a riddle and responses. Sorry for the frustrations. Next time...
