I said I would post the day post at noon- it's 11:56 so I need to write it. Which means the voting is closed, day is over, please wait for day post ;D Which means, since it's a tie, the tie means LIS dies, because at the true end of day he was one with most votes. I don't want to be accused of cheating of unfairness, so I have to follow the rules edit: well it seems people want Dusty to die instead. I said I would extend the day for my own reasons, so Frost is right, you guys get it too. how did you get this? If you're talking about what I call "Solution One" (see post 20 of this topic), z is always n+1 and the chance of reroll is 1/(n^2). Your (n^2 mod z) / (n^2) would be 20/400 = 1/20 which is not correct, 1/400 is. Maybe you meant z mod n^2- which in this case for z = n+1 would always be 1, and thus it's just 1/(n*n) as I said in post 20

nope, it can't. Adding the two numbers results in a weighted distribution. You need to multiply to clear the ranges for the next number to be added. It's like the first rolls determines 20, 40, etc, and the second roll adds to that, thus there is no weighted distribution.

clueless: Johnson lives in India btw, so he's on at different times of the day than you or me (assuming you live in a time zone close to me)
