  1. hehe, thanks! I only just had the answer in mind and how to separate it so it would be the most difficult. I write the parts spur of the moment, when they are needed.
  2. 1st suspicious character is PG
  3. Hmm. what to say... I'll start off by saying I'm suspicious before the games even start... As for this particular game, I'm not afraid to say I am a Jumper. I do not have role-ID skills, but I'm tough and Jumpers do not want to lose me in a Lynch. I am of great service at Night to the Jumpers. Also, if the vote continues to pounce on me, which I am quite used to, I'll reveal much more info (that isn't good for the Jumpers, but I'll do what I must to not get Lynched) - therefore, I'd like everyone to pay considerable attention to anyone who pushes me to do so. Frost is not included, at least not yet, in that suspicion.
  4. well, that was my first idea, but then I went with pirates I'm sure this was easier to make than it was to solve. Thanks for playing!
  5. Aw, Mekal always gets killed right away...
  6. I've been thinking for a while about this and seeing as how it's election day, I should probably post the idea while it's still somewhat relevant. I don't think it has anything to do with partisanship and would neither benefit/hurt either party. I was thinking about the whole "Get out and vote" mantra. Is that really the best concept? I would say something to effect of "Get out and make an informed vote" would be much better. I know this wouldn't be popular among most Americans because in most cases, testing is frowned upon by those who have to take them, but I think voters should have to take a test to get their voter registration renewed each election cycle. The test would be something along the lines of: some USA historical questions, some current events, who's in power at home and abroad (i.e. who is Nancy Palosi? who is the leader of Germany, Russia, etc... and what is their Political stance?) Obviously people could cheat, but that's not the point. Cheating or looking answers up is totally fine, they still get the knowledge and that's really the point: for people to vote with knowledge. This would eliminate people voting based almost on nothing which I think a lot of people do. I have a feeling that this election there was a very high percentage of informed voters compared to past elections, but I guarantee that plenty were not. Anyway, it's just an idea and I'm sure it will never be implemented: at least no time soon.
  7. I never liked people voting for tal. In fact, I've seen tal go down before in the first lynch as a good guy. In defense of those who vote for tal, that was silly to vote for yourself unless there was something good to be got from getting lynched in your character description and you actually wanted people to vote for you. (which wasn't the case) As for woon: I started the vote for woon. And I had a reason.

You're right about this first statement. What does "knowledge about death" (whatever that is trying to implicate) have to do with this discussion? This discussion is about ghosts. Who "sees" ghosts? Living people do. And let me assure you that both I and octopuppy are living. We don't need to die to figure out something doesn't make sense and has no proof to justify its existence. I don't even see the need to have an open mind about ghosts, in the hopes that maybe in the future someone will prove they exist; that is just not going to happen. There are way too many reasons for ghosts not to exist. And must I remind you that books, movies, etc... do not count as proof?

    Chuck Norris Jokes

Chuck Norris doesn't stub his toes. He destroys chairs, bedframes, sidewalks and stairs. Tom Clancy has to pay royalties to Chuck Norris because "The Sum of All Fears" is Chuck Norris' birth name. The crossing lights in Chuck Norris' home town say "Die slowly" and "die quickly". They each have a picture of Chuck Norris punching or kicking a pedestrian. Chuck Norris did in fact, build Rome in a day. Ninjas want to grow up to be just like Chuck Norris. But usually they grow up just to be killed by Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris once sued Burger King after they refused to put razor wire in his Whopper Jr, insisting that that actually is "his" way. 'Icy-Hot' is too weak for Chuck Norris. After a workout, Chuck Norris rubs his muscles down with 'liquid nitrogen and lava'. Chuck Norris cannot love, he can only not kill. Chuck Norris only bowed his head once: to plant the seed of life on Earth. Chuck Norris invented the car in order to give his victims the impression they could escape him. When Chuck Norris heard about God, he thought: "I'll let the kid play for a while." Chuck Norris' character is called Walker because he never needs to run and enjoys the building fear as he walks after his prey. Chuck Norris can judge a book by its cover. Chuck Norris does not own a house. He walks into random houses and people move. Before each filming of Walker: Texas Ranger, Chuck Norris is injected with fourteen times the lethal dose of elephant tranquilizer. Seven to eight stunt doubles still die each day on the set.

    Phobias

I have a fear of spoilers. If a commercial for Heroes or Lost comes on I do everything I can to not hear or see any of it I'm not looking it up to see if it actually exists so I'll just call it: spoilerophobia

My 2 cents: I think a new thread for every background would be best. Also, a definitive order of people playing from the beginning is necessary so multiple people aren't working on the image at the same time. If someone is taking forever, whoever hosts (posts the OP) can resolve the wait with pms and let the next person in line know if they are up.
  14. Sure, post whatever you want. I'll post the answer tomorrow since the turnout has been so low. Then it can finally disappear.
  15. What's with saving roles acting so suspicious in these games? Oh well, as woon put it, my vote's still on him for tomorrow. (pending the Night's revelations of course) There is some good news for the Jumpers: they have the Reflex who seems to be a tough one to bring down. Also, the Crusader wasted an RID kill trying to get him/her.
  16. Just adding a new thought: we don't know everyone's role capabilities. Perhaps taliesin and/or woon cannot be lynched which is why they do not fear it Edit: or maybe they get something good if there are lynched. this not probable, but possible
  17. Alright, here's the whole riddle: Part 1: Known to be long, and quite a sight But look as hard as you might You'll never see the end of me Unless you see the black and white Part 2: You could probably find me in a mall I'm usually never thought of as tall And often I cause disgust When I must, I mock your trust Part 3: The first word is in plural form You'll find me near the end I can be fifth, I can be second I can begin something you send Part 4: I join the first and third words Describing fur and baby birds Beginning a game played outside or in Often attributed to babies' skin Part 5: I'm larger when I'm divine But my length is always short When repeated I make laughter I'm part of an argument of a sort, ...usually heard in a divorce court Part 6: I'm usually advanced by you But when I'm fastened to earth, Or suspended in air You won't have too much to do. I begin the end of this riddle though I am very near the middle I'm short for a team With a feline theme And I've plenty with which to fiddle Part 7: I share the last letter of Part Six and add two more of my own A difference between genders As a teasing jest, I'm known Last Part: Some people call me money I happen from a ball poorly thrown If you spill me, people know If you're full of me, they don't

How is thinking ghosts exist, optimistic? I don't find the idea of eternally walking the earth for no reason other than to scare one in every million people a very optimistic future -I don't know the real stats, it's probably 1/100. Anyhoo... ghosts don't exist. I don't even see the need for a discussion about them (but apparently there is one or two - I think was posted already). The foundation of this discussion is that some people believe this without proof and others don't believe it because there is no proof. Which side to choose? hmm. We don't even need to get into the morality or the reason of/for ghosts because proof should be prerequisite to any further debate. [otherwise, it's a slippery slope to talking about Bigfoot, Yetis, zombies, etc...] And for Blade: assuming ghosts don't exist, it's not like you'd be alive to feel sad that you aren't a ghost. You wouldn't feel anything. Think about it. It's not bad, it's not good, it's nothing. Therefore, you have nothing to worry about
  19. And so anxious to have your random vote for Dawh recognized... you're a baddie.
  20. Voting for people for inactivity is usually a bad idea. Also, this soon in the game... makes you look bad.
  21. 1) Reaymond -voting for Dawh 2) Kathleen 3) star_tiger 4) Frost 5) Brandonb 6) Dawh 7) Joe's Student 8) Foolonthehill 9) Puzzlegirl 10) itachi-san -voting for woon 11) Frozen_in_fire 12) crazypainter 13) Mekal Vote for dms172 14) dms172 vote for Mekal 15) Prince_Marth85 16) woon 17) taliesin Not much to go on except that the Reflex/Crusader battle was sweet. I know how shady a baddie woon can be, so I'll vote for him.
  22. I'll clarify that. Since the parts of the riddle are given in order, it is implied that the last letter of part 6 is the first letter of part 7 and that they share it in reference to the 'whole'.
  23. Part 7: Continue to Entire Riddle
  24. no worries, it's gone. Thanks rookie!
