I came to the same conclusion. Money was the only thing I could think of that is good (usually) in large amounts. Other than that, I try to be as minimalistic as I can. I believe that having too many possessions is bad for the soul.

From my track experience, no one ever says runners could be in an upcoming race. They say: 'person A, person B , etc... are in the 800m, person C, person D, etc... are in the 400m' No one ever says 'OK, for the next race here are the possible runners. Or, the following people could be in the 800m, who knows for sure? Maybe a meteor will fall on us all in 10 seconds and there won't be a race.' - not a typical day at the races quote.

I would love to argue that. The person who finished first isn't out of the race after they finish... Perhaps you're not familiar with Track lingo. Say it's 8 in the morning and the meet hasn't even started yet. You can name everyone who is the race and guess what? No one is running at the time! Edit: Can you post a link to the race #3 one? I don't see it anywhere.

Isn't this the same puzzle with the flawed logic that we all tried to figure out a day or two ago? I think Eventhorizon had it best when he said the 3rd place guy spontaneously combusted.

I actually just unintentionally did this yesterday. One of my circuit breakers tripped causing my room to have no power in 1 outlet. When I was trying to figure out the problem at first, I flipped the light switch a couple of times. Now that the breaker is back to normal my light switch is opposite, so the answer would be to trip the breaker and then flip the switches to whatever arrangement you want and then re-establish the breaker.

Well, I can add my 2 cents about Today and Yesterday: Today NEVER goes because it's always today. No matter what it will never go because it always is. Yesterday is NEVER here because it's there The here and now is Today. Yesterday is the came and gone. How can Yesterday be here? Fun topic, I debate this all day Today or Yesterday or Tomorrow?
