  1. Mais, bien sur, how can you have true convictions if they are simply what you've believed since you were a child? Or something that someone else has forced upon you? I sort of went on some "religious adventuring" not so long ago. I was pretty much just questioning what I'd been brought up with. I didn't go into Buddhism or Islam or any of that stuff. Probably the one other belief system that I thought could have been right was a variation of Pantheism. Unfortunately, Science told me that this could not be so, and I was left with the Christian God. My faith is still shaky, and I don't really have as strong a personal relationship with Christ as I'd like to have, but I've found something I can genuinely believe in. I may randomly speak in French. Just warning you. Call it practice.
  2. Bump. Giving you the answer: Nairobi National Park in Kenya. I did all that without Google Translate. Impressive, huh? You, on the other hand, may need a little assistance from every would-be traveller's best friend. Okay, I managed the first three sentences without Google Translate. I'm still happy with that.

    What Am I?

I see corrugated metal. Probably painted. Though I seriously doubt that's what it is.
  4. Yes, usually. Some people don't have visible ones, and there's a debate about whether this reflects health, but it seems to be generally accepted that there's nothing wrong with not being able to see yours.
  5. Keratin is the closest on that list. Not quite there.

    What Am I?

Is it... An empty spool of thread? So, pretty much a spool without thread...
  7. I wish to go to the future, to check on Peter Capaldi... You know, to make sure he didn't mess up his role as The Doctor, and kill him if he did...
  8. Hello, my name is Ageniethatdoesnotcorruptwishes. My parents have unresolved issues... I wish for OmegaScales to drop down dead.
  9. Eh... None of the above. Excuse me while I go Google that. Um... I don't think I really can classify it as anything... *shrug*

    What Am I?

Yup! Good job. Sorry it's so big. Care to take your turn?
  11. Aaaand... *poof!* You feel something different deep within you... You now have two appendixes! How sadly useless. For those who've had their appendix removed...: You feel your heart beat a little faster... Placing a hand to your chest, you feel two heartbeats! You're a Time Lord! Alone in the Universe, without any family, destined to watch those you love die, while you never age, and never die. EDIT: I wish for a diamond.

    What Am I?

    Time to get much easier...

    What Am I?

None of these things. For the record, I do not actually know what that thing from the last picture does, though I probably should...
  14. Not quite. The height was ab unfortunately overlooked coincidence. The second part of your guess was correct, though, so...
  15. It can be seen anywhere, and it not... reeaaally alive... Not on its own.
  16. Derp. Okay, then. I wish to be a genie.
  17. Okay, I still technically have a lot of work that I should be doing right now, but this'll be a quick "chapter". So tell me, everyone... Where am I? EDIT: Incidentally, I find it amusing that Weebl's "Kenya" is the first thing that comes up when you type, "free snorkel with every visit" into Google. Is there no place that actually supplies free snorkels with every visit? Clearly not. Frankly, it's outrageous.
  18. I play the piano (I took lessons as a kid, and hated it beyond all imagination. I don't mind it so much now.) and the guitar. I can sing, too, but I'm sort of whatever's between tenor and alto, which makes it difficult to sing a lot of songs in their original key... *sigh*
  19. Oh, where do I start? Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. Every child of the 80's should read this book. Life in Outer Space by Melissa Keil. A romance with so much nerd thrown in... *satisfied sigh* Anything by Ted Dekker. As far as I'm concerned, the man is a legend. I also really liked The Time Machine. A relatively short book with a very well thought out history.
  20. Er... They can be about 0.3-2 centimetres wide, and can be about <1-5(ish) millimetres long. Long is probably not the right word, but it will become clearer once the word has been guessed. Sorry about metric, all you Americans.
  21. Granted - you now exist in a world where OmegaScales is supreme lord and ruler of... well, everything, really. Enjoy repopulating the world with him, though.
