Izzy, I think you're mixing things up. Take a look again on the rules, specifically this one: So, it seems that we got rid of the Indy (which means only 4 goodies/whatever to lynch/kill), but I do not think this gives us much information in itself. And in fact, I was surprised by how little information was in the first nightpost (compared to the rest of the games I saw here on BrainDen).

And adding to bonanova's 2 questions: 3. If yes to the previous two questions then what do you understand through addition of two trytes? Or equivalently, is the set of trytes closed under this operation e.g. 222222 + 000001 = 000000? (addition modulo 729)

I hope that was a satisfying puzzle, it looked like the final stretch was fun! Nice technique and indeed the most natural in practice we've seen so far in the games : Thank you for this challenge, octopuppy. I had so much fun running around in circles over the patterns, until finally seeing it.
