  1. No to all but one answer is very much on target, just not a bull's eye.
  2. Hi Storygirl. I usually tie my riddles to a motif that has nothing to do with the answer. I do it for stylistic's sake. Yes, I made ref. to Jesus intentionally. It was stylistic. It was cheeky and fun. Those who know me would not be led astray from such obviousness. Did you like like it?

Ah! Wikipedia is only a fingertip away! : ) Id
  4. Interesting and well-thought out analysis MM. I think that particular style however, where each line contains a cryptic word play to support the same term, is common for another poster on this board, not me. The lines and stanzas taken as a whole support the answer, with many word clues thrown in for good measure : ) Of note: This is not a mundane item. It is a unique X with a very specific name with which some younger members here may be unfamiliar. Some research might be required. And just to be clear, nothing right so far. Good luck!
  5. Arrrrggghhhhh! That was one of my guesses on hold but I opted for the bug first. Good riddle.
  6. Good guesses all but incorrect
  7. (Minor edit) Pagan is my type and title Jesus my first born, Muted in His lordly pain From Lamb was golden shorn. At my feet upon the stone Where heaven’s light has bowed Are written in the hands of men Glyphs to claim a crowd. East to West where marks the best Of those who first unspoken Paved the way for those today Who capture hearts oft broken.
  8. OK, no more gimmies! Good job Molly.
  9. A simple soul I bear my cross Bound to Father's hand, Heaven waiting in the loss, Death upon the land. On foreign shore my game is war On others artistry, My oldest fame is not a game But dire deeds, you see. When my world is feeling torpid Break my bones and sigh, When salty skirts go billowing I may just catch your eye.
  10. I haven't checked any spoilers so I don't know if this has been offered yet.
  11. The "doorbell" is the autonomic electrical impulse that causes the heart to contract (beat).
  12. Yeah . . . all apologies for that. I was aware of the limitations regarding females and non-American cultures, but it just came to me and I wanted to publish it. Maybe I'll do something with a wombat or cricket bat someday, eh what? : )
  13. Well bud, you made short order of that one! LOL!!
  14. Little house of four rooms only, Lose the house and leave them lonely. Upstairs, downstairs always rushing, Open door and owner blushing. Hear the doorbell, and again, It’s just the mailman, time to send. Cupboard serving dainty plates Blocking doorways, Stemming fates.
  15. Maybe indeed! You nailed it!
