  1. long time no riddlin'. welcome back. hope all is well.

  2. not them, and need to say that, like before, the last line can refer to the tangible/touchable form of the word.
  3. Thanks for coming back. Oh, I so hate to say no. Another very well thought out answer. Please do not get discouraged. (Even though I should, with guesses like that, I wont.) You know you should never do that. And please dont give up either. One last REWRITE: Let it out when frustrated and bleak. Or a means to release, so to speak. OK, This really says the same thing but hopefully will promote some different direction.

Hey MrsP. Great riddle. Just fyi, as I think you would like to know, Deanna gave this answer in post #19 and I think she was doing it to clarify Justkickinback's answer in post #17. Just noticed myself that she edited it in while you were responding in post #20. That old posts crossing in the ethernet dilemna. Still a most enjoyable riddle.
  5. Yep, had the same feeling as MrsP. Well done DD. Thanks for another fun ride plasmid.
  6. That may have already been guessed...it's getting kind of hard to remember. no again, rats. not a homophone which I think you would need to make it tangible (unless I'm being dense again like I almost was with one of your last answers).
  7. sorry, had second thoughts. a little late in the day for me...
  8. I need to come up with something better than that! A very clever answer. Was actually typing that it did not tie into escape before I figured out where you were coming from. OUCH. A great answer but it wont help with the next step in the riddle, I'm afraid. Cop out, I know. Sorry, great but no, again. Thanks for the advice PG.. Not guessed yet I dont think but still not it. Considering the homophone would certainly qualify for the tangible/touchable as hinted for the second line of the couplet. Another great miss. Urggh Sorry. Hey t_mo. Thanks for visiting my riddle and obviously taking the time to read thru it. No worries re your entry here. All are welcome. Your guesses are not what I'm looking for. I will say and thanks very much for this, they have given me the inspiration for the HINT I've been looking for.
  9. Tangible= 1) touch. 2) realized by the mind. 3) actual value
  10. even though I probably should, since I'm getting nowhere. No to both you and DN Thanks for not giving up and pleeeeease don't. Think if you concentrate on the "get it off (your chest)" or "let it out" and try to make a connection with "escape" you can get it.
