who was he? he would not say in the park I saw him one day different he was in action and look tried to ignore him, kept to my book sat down beside me and pretended I dont care but after a bit he demanded my stare what the heck was he about quite bizarre, tried to get out this oddly allowed my chance to escape for his intentions began to take shape but now I understand and with that Im fine why nobody really likes his kind.

Great riddle Sven! Been studying this one for two days with nothing gelling before tonight. First got the second word but wrong tense. Then the third and as soon as I corrected the tense of the second word, the title did give away the first word. Great fun as always. Guess you noticed the stinky pinky stink. Dont really get the reasoning behind that decision. Never got the chance to say, "struggling/smuggling, Nice one!" FWIW I had intended lessoning as you thought and had naught/taught.

Wow! Great riddle. Am sure all will agree. Staring right at us the whole time and yet unexplicably (after seeing the answer) hidden. Still cant quite explain how you did it. I feel the trickiness to this one was not overly helped by the direction of the guesses but rather from a sophistication in the phrasing and composition as well as an acute understanding of how one attacks solving a riddle. Great stuff MrsP!
