Thanks for summarizing, plasmid. And you're right we are down to two ...still I'm afraid. As for the four letteredness, well, can I say it could be? The third one may or may not break that trend. And as for the singularity difficulties, you know I usually have to cheat and resort to POWs or some other kind of gimmick as in this case to qualify mine. And a good morn' afternoon wish for you, Wilson. Another great, well thought out, and understandable guess. And yet not it. Sorry but thanks. Ok, slept on it last night: wooden hill = stairs? so climb the wooden hill = upstairs to bed? Love it.

Is anyone else missing the options button that used to be at the top of each topic that allows you to choose how posts are displayed? I had it set to always show the OP at the top of each page and now it doesn't. Anyone else have this issue?

Both really good answers but not the ones. See where you're coming from. Think we are narrowing it down on the second one. At least I hope so. Once again this fits just fine but it wont help you out with the final answer. So for the second time now I must apologize for the vagueness of this one.

Hey DN, thanks for droppin' in. None of these are what I have in mind. I must say tho, your answer for the second word fits at least as good as mine. I hate it when that happens. Sorry about that. It's pretty much impossible to make a couplet that eliminates all but the one intended answer. Please keep at it.

Meant just for good fun, like one from before. Solve the five below, and then there is more. Smaller in a sense, yet off the charts I can be. Most common of man or deserted possibly.
