0 tiger_lily111 Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 22, 2009 I can't help but think it has to be like what the guy said with the sword and the champagne, only the widow's "knife" is a bottle opener; then you don't twist the cork out, you pull straight out; the strife is obviously the fizz/bubbles, then the absence of wrath is the "widow" getting a little tipsy and forgetting her lost partner??? going WAY out there for this one Not sure if you need to go further out or reel it back in, but that isn't it either. you don't ever use a bottle opener (corkscrew) on champagne, because you could cause an injury if the corkscrew were to shoot out with the cork due to expelling the gas (pressure). You remove the cage and gently twist & pull the cork until the pressure allows it to 'pop' easily out. See, the Den is quite educational!
