I don't have spoilers on mobile interface, sorry. Does the problem state ANY triangle? I can do this for right triangles (which are not isosceles) with 3 similar non congruent triangles and I can do it for equilateral triangles with 3 trapezoids similar non-congruent. But not for any triangle. EDIT: just saw Bonanova's that is my solution as well, but it does not work for A=B.

I still pop into here from time to time, but I rarely have time to host a game. However, if you see this, message/PM me back - I'm willing to host a quick one (6-8) in August / September 2015 if you're interested.

Long time no see. I have a puzzle that's eating me for more than a week and I think you'll like working on it Credits in "spoilers". Assume you have a cylinder around which you've wrapped a rectangular grid of cells (R rows x C columns). Each cell contains an integer greater or equal to 1. Each integer is equal to the number of neighboring cells (neighbor = sharing an edge, not just a corner) having the same integer. E.g. a cell containing 1 can have exactly one neighbor cell with 1 inside, the other neighbors can have any other different integers. Two decorations are the same if by rotating (around the cylinder's axis of symmetry) one of the cylinders (whole rectangular grid rotation - rotating rows/columns separately is not possible) and putting them side to side you can view them as identical from any viewpoint. Also, the top and bottom of the cylinder are considered as being different so if the rectangular grid is not symmetrical around the cylinder's half-full/half-empty axis, a cylinder decoration identical to the original turned up-side down would count as not the same as the original. How many unique decorations can you make with such a RxC cylinder? 1. For R,C <=6. 2. A closed-form expression or algorithm for any R,C. Note: I am stuck at 2. I have an algorithm, but I'm rather more interested if there is a closed-form expression i.e. using basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), exponentiation to a real exponent, logarithms, and trigonometric functions.

= Without going into the question-answer logic I should note that there is a basic misunderstanding (maybe my fault) - you can ask only three times and ​​no matter it's the same question or different questions = There is (actually) no misunderstanding. You actually did not take into consideration questions regarding future potential questions. And therefore are unable to imagine this kind of questions as valid. They actually use up only 1 question at a time to a single person so they are valid under what you have written as the OP. However, if you wish to impose a restriction on the syntax or the semantics of the questions, please make it a part of the OP.

@plas - I don't understand what you want from me. I'm putting pressure because I acted on you last night. Coincidentally stuff did not happen. All you had to do was say "I got blocked but [insert meaningful insights here]. Instead you went for the looong way around to say I'm mistaken/redirected or a baddie. You're digging your own grave. The 3 nights before: n1 blocked OT she admitted, n2 blocked twoaday, did not work as I was blocked/notified, n3 blocked dee, she admitted. I blocked you N4 b/c of your wifom comment. Now either give a reasonable explanation or make a hard claim that someone can easily refute.

@plas - I see you. I mean I raise your bluff with 2 cents: If Nana is Amazo, there is a block who will go after her for the kill. If she's a goodie, again, same-combo. Turbo mode only works once. You're wifom-ing the wrong guys. @Dee - I see what you mean: Super villains are hard to get and obviously (still) here. 3 out of 9 people alive are super-villains. 4 out of 9 are not goodies. Things are not getting better. But Barc is right, a character that grows in time is a more immediate danger. And I'll add that villains are more than well equipped for the job. @Barc - 3 goodies down going into N4 after 3x2=6 phases is not the worst start. We could have had that going into D2, without knowing the identity of two dead. I'd rather baddies and indy figure out they need to go after each other, instead of having to post this obvious reasoning in the thread.

Not going to vote for you today b/c if you're Amazo in turbo, it would be pointless. But you're in no way clearer after N3 than you were after N1 in my books. P.S. When I'm gone / after I'm gone, please remember that if Solomon Grundy is in the game, we need majority to lynch and that is harder to achieve as time passes. Also Grundy is magic as well as two other baddie roles. Only Hawkgirl (dead), WonderWoman and Zatana could be magic. So please, if you spot a magic user later on (or have spotted during previous nights), do tell. Not during the night, during the day @Flash - I don't know if you're in the game but since you do need to choose roles not people, you should've been pretty active by now and I ain't seeing it. While you cannot encode anything in the messages and are subject to manipulation, you can truthtell if a pair in some message has been redirected. Please stay alive and do so. @Baddies - if Nana is not one of yours, you know what to do in N3 @Y-San: I take majority needed to lynch to be 50% rounded of remaining players +1 e.g. 5 for 9 and 6 for 10. Can you clarify if this is the intended meaning in the OP? Also does that mean majority AFTER day vote redirects?

Agreed with one exception.Batman may not be in the game after all. Silence does not equivocate with a definite answer. I doubt I missed and there was a public hint from someone who could definitely say if one of the goodie roles is not in the game (but if someone would, I would recommend keeping quiet though, with RID based manipulation / cloning going or possibly going around. except if blatantly needed to CC someone else).
