And DD gets the sixth couplet. Almost gave it to Wilson for his first guess until I realized his was for the fifth clue which also made great sense. Oops, my bad. Only the fifth remains before the finale. Think this one is pretty good (my favorite of the seven) and fair but not easy.

indeed. good one D L EDIT: in response to your following post. wouldn't say more time is needed. this one was well thought out and especially liked the double entendre of that "unclear" bit. dont think its how fast a riddle is solved that makes it good or bad. sometimes they just pop for someone. more important is that when the answer is discovered, it's the best fit and best when the solvers get that moment. all just my opinion of course.

wouldnt say that at all, plasmid. think this has more to do with a slow stretch here in the den. have been considering several possibles but there's usually a line or two I cant quite justify. imo, that goes against your thoughts of this one being too vague and puts it right up there with your other excellent I'm not a's. will keep at it. dont really care for the "shot gun" approach but also, like i mentioned, dont think these are all right. though I do like margaritas.

hey Thalia - that's not what am looking for for this one but did think both of those might be guessed. I feel there is a slightly better fit with it's connection to a couple of key words in this clue. and also, of course, what is ultimately needed for the final answer. so as not to discourage, think the others in this puzzle are more likely to have a singular answer. but am always amazed at what our fellow denizens come up with. please try again. thanks
