If I remember correctly, Flame voted to save himself and Kika seized the opportunity to keep Flame around. And Yeah, you played very well for your first time, only reason you were certain to be bad was more due to process of elimination then anything else. Thanks, I also didn't discuss much. Learning what to say and all. I think it's a little like bidding hands in bridge. It's inexact due to partial knowledge, but you have to make choices anyway.

I bought the notion you were Indy. Aided by your claim that you could not win. I herded the bugs in the wrong direction last night.

Baddie is confused. Is Baddie's wincon to be the sole survivor? (Or just kill all the Goodies?)

I'd work on it, but if you solve it does that mean you have to marry someone? It seems tantalizingly simple to throw down one fewer points and show the absence of the required n-gon. But I guess that's not enough. It's harder to prove something doesn't exist in any case b/c you have to look at every case and there are too many. You'd have to classify them somehow and disprove each class. Must be easier ways to get $1k, but it's interesting nonetheless. Have you found ways to classify groups of points?

I'm not sure who gave this puzzle a -1, but I like it, and I am giving it a +1. I interpret that OP to say The watch has run down and the hands will not move by themselves until it's rewound. The hands are inconsistently placed, and that needs to be corrected The second hand can be moved with respect to the minute hand by moving it CW The second hand can be moved with respect to the hour hand by moving it CCW. and then to ask After the correction process, the hands will be in a consistent set of positions (angles). At what future time will those positions be the correct time of day and we should then wind the watch? TSLF, can you verify that interpretation?

Baddie needs to kill the last Goodie, and can't if he's blocked. Last Goodie needs to lynch Indy and Baddie, and can't do that alone. Indy needs Baddie to be lynched, but can't without help.

OK so if I've got this all right, and assuming Jack has died, the wincons have become Baddie: 1. Kill / Lynch Goodies. Also, hope to 2. Outlive Indy (else Indy wins) (but not by Killing Indy. Because then Goodies can safely Lynch Baddie.) Goodies: 1. Lynch Indy (or hope he gets Killed, but fat chance of that), then, and only then 2. Lynch Baddie. (in other order, Indy wins.) Indy: 1. Lynch Baddie (because Indy has already outlived Jack) As a newbie, I may have overlooked something; as a player, I may have hidden something. But I'll claim that I believe the above is accurate.

Everyone's strategy seems clear at this point. But does everyone still have a chance?

Phil, I hope this passes. Depression is serious - I battled it for twenty years. I was fortunate enough to stay off medication. I feel best when I concentrate on value-creating projects (music) and diversions (BrainDen). Cultivate a few trusted friendships and lean on them when you need to. One person, a soul mate, listened to me, endlessly, over a period of five years. Without that person I would not have made it. Immerse yourself in a couple of things the bring you enjoyment. Let the world take care of itself. Trust the next generation to be strong and wise enough to take on the great projects that will fall to them. The world is a mixed bag. It has its bright spots. You can be one of them.

I've seen plasmid's math prowess in the puzzles forum. His spreadsheet would never have a divide by zero error. This casts serious doubt on his claim to be a Goodie ... we must lynch plasmid next!

I still go with Phil being Jack so that Indy (aka Flame, seems the consensus) is the imminent threat. I believe plasmid's claim, it's consistent with everything he's said so far. So he is either really really good at this game or he is on to the best strategy for the most players. I'd bet on both those statements and take the very slim chance that he's hoodwinking us. Change my vote to Flame, whenever and whoever wants to repost the votes. Framm, if you think plasmid's question is worth answering, I will follow your answer (let you answer first). So (That way) both or neither of us will answer. (edit for clarity)

It would seem so, but still is good to ask. Phil was killed by the swarm; the trio must mean LSB. Both, apparently, were thwarted last night. That is, both seemed to provide cause for saying "it's a good thing ... " All told, it seems most likely that Kika is Zero, Phil was Jack, Flame is LSB. That would leave myself, plas and Fram as baddie, Sally and Sandy, in the listing order, not necessarily respectively. Clearly I have a strong bias about the last statement but, agreeing with plas, to say why might be to say too much, today.
