0 Guest
Why don't you go ahead and throw out your answer and see if that's the case?! Then you and everyone else would know the answer to both. Can you still spoil?

0 tiger_lily111
I can't believe this is still around!! I've been gone for a month!! At least I don't feel so dumb (no offense to everyone else!) for not being able to figure it out earlier. It *looks* like it should be much easier than it is! 0 Guest
Sorry to all, but still nothing correct. Some good guesses though. Again, yes it is a tangible noun. The whole weld thing...While it will make sense once the riddle is revealed, I think using this as a major clue is leading everyone off on the wrong tangents. It was the closest at that point, several weeks ago, but there have been far closer guesses since then. I was just threatened with a good thrashing if I gave a hint that gave away the answer. Since it has been said before, I am not giving anything away. Check out some of DudleyDude's guesses. Hopefully that helps narrow it down a bit. I do think it's cool you all have stuck with this one for so long. Edited October 5, 2009 by Wood

We're sealed by fate, by what is done
And in this state, we are the one
And though I'm known, most few have seen
The thread that's sewn, or what's between
