I know these look so much easier/simpler when they're solved than they really are but, you gotta admit, the tendency's to over complicate. The last one #3 is the simplest of all but only if you know what play on words to look for. So... *in* is the operative word for this answer. read the clue very literally. Cause is not important (part of second line of pairing which does not go to the answer, just points to the connection to word #4. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

0 plainglazed Posted June 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 5, 2009 in you localarmory lily? or in your loCAL Armory cala lily The second one. Done! It's spelled and pronounced either way. Hence all that mumbled distraction between lines 3 and 4. Sorry, it didn't look too bad when first written. I blame the rhyme. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Question
plainglazed
Could be the perfect storm
But no, not either or.
And for not telling the truth
I've plead the fifth before.
'Cause in your local armory
You might swap me in kind,
For this life line's no aid;
Is another way to find.
A forceful piece that's constant
Carved a slice of special cake.
Put it all together and
Some sense of this you'll make.
