0 plasmid
Neither dental equipment nor a small furry critter. It's still early, so I'll hold off hinting about the clues pointing elsewhere for now.

0 Guest
could it be an eagle hunting its prey....? Edited December 5, 2011 by RHITMAN07
0 plasmid
Not baseball, due to the clue about a naked victim hiding. Neither shooting cans, too much like actual sniping from the title. Nor an eagle, for if a rabbit were to dive into a burrow, or a fish dive deep underwater to escape (for instance), it wouldn't be akin to going to a grave. 0 Guest
Golf. They each have their own graves. Not quite sure about the naked victim though. Will have to keep thinking about that one.
0 Guest
My guess timepool/billiards? The nakedness would be the cue ball. I don't think this fits with the first part of the plain and hill though Edited December 5, 2011 by TheChad

0 Molly Mae
@MM ahhh i just read ur answer... dammit it! i think u got it :S although i don't get how it relates to the last 2 lines care to explain ur reasoning on that? Those are actually the lines that made me think of it. I was putting up a fence last month (or the month before) and had poor quality screws. Have you ever tried to drill in a bent or damaged screw? It doesn't work very well. =(
0 plainglazed
can/can opener but agree with guppy - think Mo Ma has it. was worried with that last one, plasmid had figured he'd thrown just about everything at us. sure was glad to see another fantastic "I'm not" riddle! 0 Guest
@Mo Mo....no i have not tried to put up a fence lately....sry but yh i get it now... kinda matches the meaning of the second stanza... i think.. otherwise i have that one wrong too which would be bad -__-' we seem to have lost another one to the pro solver ... you guys should be banned from riddles till like a few more guess... give us lesser solvers a chance @plaingazed... i mentally slapped myself as well... another awesome riddle plasmid! ahahahaha i was just realized that we've solved and agreed on the answer and given credits ....and plasmid isn't here to confirm it
0 plasmid
Or just drilling a screw? You hit the nail on the head. So to speak. ahahahaha i was just realized that we've solved and agreed on the answer and given credits ....and plasmid isn't here to confirm it Yep, that's how I like it Edit: The last stanza is talking about screws where the groove that the screwdriver sits in has been worn out, so the screwdriver can no longer get a grip and the screw can no longer be removed from whatever it's embedded in. They're commonly referred to as screws that have been "stripped" Edited December 6, 2011 by plasmid

0 itachi-san
here's what I thought. I think it may work just as well as the intended answer a needle consider needles for injecting and also extracting. and their use for supplying medicine or drugs and it fits all the lines I think. possibly better since 'pain' and 'souls' have a more literal meaning in this case
Question
plasmid
I spot my mark on summit high
Or nestled entrenched in a plain
Bring barrel leveled, crosshairs nigh
Intent on delivering pain
Perhaps their souls I may recall
Destruction might be what I crave
Or one by one they all might fall
Each enemy into his grave
The naked victim hides in fright
Secluded and yielding not
Though badly battered, thus he might
Confound my nefarious plot
