Guest
Spinning round and round Growing longer and longer. As space grows short, so too, does time. You sit there, watching, waiting. 0 Guest
the way I'm thinking right now is this: the Sun? or the Earth? As the Earth spins on itself, the orbit grows longer as space (literally) gets smaller and our time on Earth shortens...while the Sun sits watching and waiting... Maybe I just have a crazy imagination...

0 Guest
No, its not any sort of sweet. In fact, not any sort of food at all. By the way I'm keeping this tab open, so it will say I am on, though I may not look at it too often.
0 Molly Mae
First, an analogue clock. This was the last of the three to pop into my little head, but the most likely and best fit. The second was someone stopped at a stoplight. The third was someone dying in a hospital. The last two were just poetic images, though, that I thought about as I read the riddle. 0 Guest
Sorry Molly, good guesses, but no. Now, think about this; How could I be sure you encounter this all the time? Focus on lines 3 and 4. Imagine the image in your head. EDIT: Just not noticed araiT's post, it was on a different page. No, not that either. This isn't about something profound. This riddle mentions two different kinds of the same thing, too. The thing that they both are is the answer. 0 Guest
Still no hits. And sorry dyalDragon, I just felt like putting something sounding like Yoda as title. It may actually be a quote, I'm not sure. Guys, this isn't something profound, like life or age or infinity. Its not anything like that. If I can think of a few verses as a hint, I'll post 'em. Edit: Hinty repost of last line. You sit there, watching, waiting. Edited August 20, 2010 by NickFleming

Rush me too much and I'll cause trouble Make the window frost over this doesn't happen to ME regularly but waiting for a plane? OR, maybe it's any form of transportation? as you sit and wait more people arrive therefore space grows short, literaly, and time goes by therefore the waiting time also grows shorter...am I waaay off?
