So... why not just called it the RID ability? (Role+ID) since it gets rid of the problem of people coming out with their roles.

Yeah, I feel like it's my fault. I hadn't put a lot of thought into baddie strategy, and I didn't realize how important it was for L to use the posts to organize the task force's night actions.

Wow... what a terrible turn of events. If only I could have made it to the end of the day, I had such great things planned. This was what I had been working on right before I died... (I PMed it to Ysan when I died since I couldn't use it) None of the names or actions have been changed, this is copied straight out of the word processor where I had saved it with my roster. *********************************** -In the actual night 2 post- suggest that Yagami make the eye deal, and have Yagami check Itachi. And if Itachi happens to be Yagami, then check Woon. Then he would need to just come directly out with it, since there’s a good chance that he was ID’d in the night post anyway. And if he is outed, then no big deal, he could use the ability the next night on someone else like JS or FOTH before he would die. -Then I spy Sinistral -And since I would be outed (b/c of the use of my spy ability, if I wasn’t already)… I suggest (in a direct post during the night, not the night post) that Aizawa lay a trap for Dawh to vote for GC, if Aizawa is Dawh, then have Rene vote for Dawh. So during the day, Rene votes for Dawh who votes for GC, and that way he would also learn an ID, and if the corresponding role refused to make the vote, then s/he would be outed as a baddie. -Then have Wedy use her PM ability on me to her, tell her who I am, and who Sinistral is, and have her make a signal so I would know who she is. -I would also instruct her, that on the following night, that she should PM all that info to Near or Mellow -Also, since I would be outed by my spy and would most likely going to be dead by night 3, I need to suggest that Near and Mellow should both come out with their spy abilities on night 3 and just out all of the info given to them. That way: On night 2, Wedy would know who Sinistral and myself, and I would know who Sinistral and Wedy were. On day 2, Aizawa would know who Dawh or Rene was. Then on night 3 it would all go down… Yagami could use his Shinigami eyes and expose Itachi or Woon. And either Near or Mellow would know who L, Wedy, and Sinistral were. Everyone would know who Itachi and/or woon were. They would know the names of a couple other people, and since someone would know who Aizawa was, then they could reinforce Aizawa when he outed whoever Dawh or Rene was. ****************************************** I didn't know that PT and BL were the baddies yet, I never even had them on my radar for using in my plan during the night (I thought PT was either a baddie OR Matsuda, and if he was Matsuda, he had already done too much hinting and would die during the night anyway). However, during the night I would have known Light, and Aizawa would have known Ryuk (or everyone would at least know Dawh was a baddie). To tell the truth, I really really wanted to do the random task force member ability on night one, but I didn't want to risk dying before I got out the night post... so I risked living until the next night post... too bad I didn't make it. Anyway, I was having a very hard time choosing who to be L. I thought about Itachi, but I didn't want to risk having him turn out to be a baddie, beause he would surely nail me as L after a stunt like that. I figured that if I picked a baddie, they would surely go along with it and pretend to be L, and that a TF member would possibly decline it, but would most likely go along with it, so nothing would really be learned. So I picked out everyone that I thought would write the post like me... and picked one at random... I picked wrong <_< . In fact... I sent a PM to Ysan saying that Sinistral has turned out to be the perfect choice, he really convinced me that he was most likely to be task fore. My worst nightmare had been realized... well, not exactly. It's was when we lynched Misa that my worst nightmare was realized So once I died (and learned PT and BL's IDs), I sent another PM to Ysan. I told her that Itachi and Rene were on my radar as acting strangely, and that they would most likely Light and Ryuk. Well, my observation was well aimed, but my interpretation was way off. Grrr... Well done Sinistral and PT, you two made a great duo Next time you won't be so lucky

Wow, and I had such great plans for tonight's post... Oh well, dying in order to take down two baddies with me... and releasing the hounds Near and Mellow... and following along with the true storyline... I couldn't have imagined a better way to die... Good luck TF! This is far from over.

OK, I'm back, and before I read anything else I just want to say that my earlier idea was terrible b/c we would not know the difference if they actually did the name of a Task Force member instead of Ryuk. OK, now time to go read.

The purple was like the time in the show when both Light and L both say "I am JUSTICE!" at the same time. Nothing more... I don't think So Light's already out huh? I guess the deterrent may be effective, but I do agree that there's no way you're gonna last to the end of the game now I hope you realized that as soon as one of the Shinigami nail one of your replacements with the Shinigami eyes (they both get to use the eyes every single night and a kill every day [that's 2 IDs per night, and 1 kill per night]), they're gonna come after you next. I'm not exactly sure how we are supposed to win against something like that. I guess the best thing for us is that Ryuk shouldn't care about killing anyone but Light. **************** Well, from what I could gather in the night post, the DNH made an attempt on Itachi and it didn't work, but the other attempt was not mentioned. At this point, I can no longer speculate if Itachi was attacked merely because he was a guess, or if he is one of the DNH trying to throw suspicion off of himself. This has become a cliche, and I don't care to make that accusation. As for the other, unmentioned name written in the note... I assume that means that they specified the character to die the following night. So it will not be mentioned/confirmed until the post tonight. Good news though, the actions from last night do give me a good idea. Tomorrow night, the DNH should write Ryuk's name in the death note. He will not die, but his name will be revealed in the night post. That way we can lynch Ryuk the next day. Now... I'm not sure who to vote for in the lynch today. So I will reserve my vote for now, until people begin to become somewhat active. Also, I will not be around for the next 4hrs b/c I'm heading to the State Fair. Take it easy everyone, viva la task force!

Good point. There's a 75% chance that Kisame revealed his role to Marth (assuming that Kisame trained his attribute in night 1). Or a 100% chance that it was revealed to Marth if Kisame hadn't trained. The odds are pretty high that you learned who Kisame is, so what do you have to say Marth?

Another thing I just thought of, is that PM just lost one of his Defenses as a penalty for inactivity. It would be stupid for him to use his last defense for that purpose. <_< I'm not trying to defend him, but the accusations about him using a defense just don't seem to be thoroughly thought out

I agree. It's now considered a classic plan for baddies to attack their own. But I don't see why they would do that and waste a defense this early in the game. If I were them, I would have had both people train on the first night, with one of them not training their chakra. In that case, there would be no way for one of them to kill the other on the 2nd night b/c of the 0% kill chance when attacking a person that is training, with a 50% chakra (I hope that comes across well, it seems confusing when I try to write it). I believe there is a next to zero possibility that they would waste a defense for such a ploy. So I see it as a long shot that PM and Kisame would have planned such an attack. There are many options as to who PM could be if he in fact was merely training. But then again, I may be falling for the classic . I dunno. I've just had so many bad results lately when voting for someone else as a method of gaining more info, when there is a confirmed baddie already among us. Heck yeah! Bill&Ted's Bogus Journey, just like I said! I thought the preview for next week looked lame as far as action goes. I figure they will just setup the plot for the rest of the season. They'll explain the difference between the two sides, and have a few people join the two sides, and not much more than that. (Hmm... sounds like 'Hybrid' coming soon)

Crap! I hate it when people are inactive and don't ever help us to nail the right people! Not to mention, PM is just as bad for being inactive also. But still, he got what he deserved. So... I had an idea. PM has been forced to automatically use one of his defenses tonight. So if anyone wants to attack tonight, they should choose to attack him. That way we can learn his defense and have some idea about who he is. It may be a good lead to go on for tomorrow. Edit: wait, maybe I should ask this question first... does PM just lose his defense? Or is he forced to use it tonight?

Suck it up and vote. You of all people should know that the game does not progress, and no info can be learned, when everyone just sits back and drools instead of taking some sort of action. The less voting that occurs today, the less we know. The less we know, the more likely we are to vote out a good guy. Since your actions (or inaction) is leading to a more likely chance of us lynching a good guy... I am beginning to change my mind about you. Edit: spelling
