  1. -not really, and since you saw the hint: how many barflies would you expect to see when you're playing baseball? I would say none, because they'd be at the bar watching the game (if it's televised).

Painful to 2 tigers with claws, fangs and massive weight and power differential? No way. Even if you tried to poke their eyes out, you'd only get 1 eye before dying most likely.

Using sign language doesn't require hearing, seeing or speaking, i.e. Helen Keller...

What good is a rifle with no bullets?
  5. itachi-san

Well, my dollars are made out of 20 nickels.
  6. I put 10 in as mostly a joke because I couldn't think of a 10th one that followed suit with the theme of the previous 9. I could reword it as: can you prove someone is telling the truth?
  7. itachi-san

I agree, but the point is that there are many answers. Here's an answer you can't refute. Least at bats for a batter = 1.

Oh, you also have a typo I believe, the last number you give should be 9, right?

Everything's really easy once you figure it out.
  10. You can find these in Baseball?
  11. You are moving more than 2 segments with the turning part.
  12. Well baseball player isn't what I had in mind, but it surely does fit well. Line 2 is pretty questionable though. Does a high school baseball player withstand severe abuse? No. I'll take this as an answer though, but there is a better answer.
  13. Going with the 40% clue:

I agree that one's IQ or mile time does not solely reflect their intelligence or athleticism respectively. But, I believe they are certainly worthy measurements and are very big contributors to the whole picture. If someone tests with an IQ of 70 and runs a mile in 9 minutes, those are very indicative of that person's lack of intelligence and athletic ability. To dismiss these quantitative measures would be leaping in the direction (where I think you are going) in that everyone is the same (just in different ways). This is just not true in my opinion. People are more intelligent than other people and people are more athletic than other people. Also, these tests are not permanent measures. One can work at their intelligence or running and achieve better results the next time they compete, therefore these tests can also measure how much one has bettered themselves in whichever field they are working. They can be used as a self-measurement to gauge one's progress.

    LOLZ at LIS' answer
  16. You're on the right track.
  17. Well, you didn't answer either question I posed... Read the OP more carefully. Can you ever be certain you are in the game or that you have exited the game?
  18. When thrown out, I am still of use I withstand severe abuse I may be the culprit if important items are taken Though I may retrieve others which you have forsaken
  19. Broken, old, or of royal name A tricky addition to a shark's game
  20. The logic is solid. It's the 1 solution that fits the OP. What you are saying is clear, it's just very flawed... If 1st and 2nd finished the race then they are in the race, they are just not running at the time. By your logic you have to say he doesn't overtake 1st, 2nd or 3rd because all 3 of those positions will finish before he does. There is no reason to single out the 3rd place runner.
  21. Can you prove... 1) you are not dreaming? 2) the past happened? 3) you are not artificial intelligence? 4) anyone else besides you exists? 5) your life is not someone else's experiment? 6) time exists? (not keeping time, but time itself) 7) anything can be original? 8) you are not repeating the same life over and over? 9) anything other than 'you can think' and 'you acknowledge your own existence'? 10) the government ever tells the truth? Of course the answer to all of these is NO, but you can think about them... I'd be glad to be wrong though.
