Okay, Anon. I will follow you. Who should I vote For out of Flamebirde, Petrus and HiddenG? Those are my three main suspects but I'm torn over which one to vote first. Also Anon26 - I am a female not a male! I do however have a moustache, KIDDING! Anon26 - with your words about Petrus, you took the words out of my mouth. That is exactly how I feel. How can he refuse to give a reason for voting because it will get deflected? That is the game; to make accusations based on some type of reason and then give defences. By not giving a reason, it means he doesn't want a defence, he doesn't want information, he doesn't want to clear me as a goodie, he just wants to vote for me, full stop. So this seems incongruent with the aims of the game. Unless he were a baddie.... Or a newbie who doesn't understand the game. For now I will vote for Flamebirde. But I still have my eye on Petrus and HiddenG. And I'm open to any decent suggestion or convincing case as to who to vote for. Please add my vote for FB for reasons already delineated in the thread thus far. (Too tricky to copy the roster on my iPod.)

Petrus - I know it's a game. My point is that you have voted for me w/out giving a reason so you aren't giving me anything to defend. You should either give me a reason or move your vote. That is how the game is played. Otherwise how can I move your vote? Due to this behaviour, I have to believe that Petrus is a baddie (possibly along with FB and HiddenG.) Any minute now one of his teammates will come on and put a vote for me. I have to go out but will be back in a few hours to place my vote. That's how long you have, Petrus, to convince me you are acting in good faith. Your behaviour is confusing me and just because no-one counterclaimed you, doesn't mean you aren't bad. The player w/ your role probably hasn't picked up your hint.

Petrus - explain what you mean about the tracker must have spied the loan shark. Maybe the spy spied a goodie or spied a baddie but didn't want to out themselves. Also, you have voted for me but you haven't given me a reason why. So how can I give my defence? Do you seriously want another goodie lynched today? Since the baddies have a nightkill, our only chance to keep ahead of them is to use our lynch on a baddie. They are knocking us off like flies and if we lynch another goodie today, the baddies have practically won. (They have a nightkill AND a vote manip). We really have to get this right. So ask me whatever you want to know so we can move on and start looking for the REAL baddies. (Sheesh!)

Hmm, this wasn't what I expected. But look on the bright side. The hit over the head obviously cured the coughing..... ..........What?! ....……It's true! I could have told them that EDM wasn't the doc. I won't say who is (No, it's not me so back off.)

Klue - Firstly I said I didn't think EDM was necessarily a baddie. In other words, my vote had nothing to do with her guilt or innocence. I am 100% undecided on her. Second: I explained that my plan was such that I was taking the chance we sacrifice a goodie for the greater good of exposing the baddies. Now, I don't know if I was successful or not, that remains to be seen. I tested a theory as I had nothing else to go on. I have absolutely no hard evidence on anyone so something had to be done to shake things up. Third: the original plan was to tie Petrus not EDM but people moved their votes around and so I had to vote her purely to make a tie. By tieing the vote, I actually opened myself up for criticism as I enabled the baddies to manip the way they wanted. Why would a baddie open themself up to criticism? Especially as, if I wanted good22 dead, I could have left my vote as it was. I hope you understand why I did what I did. I knew I would have a lot of explaining to do but I took the risk anyway. :shrug:

HiddenG- have you ever thought you should be an actor because you are so dramatic? (just trying to make a stupid joke.). You give me a lot of entertainment anyway. Don't take these guys seriously, read what I said to you in my last post.

Naah, EDM has been playing way longer than me and KM started playing a few weeks before me. I don't mean to "show any muscles", I'm trying to teach you guys the game cos if we get more regular players, it's more fun for everyone. The sign ups fill faster and we can have bigger games etc. So don't mistake me as being attacking, it's just the game. I thought I was being helpful. Klue- you can tell them I'm way more mellow than usual HiddenG and Flamebirde and anyone else who feels victimised- this game can sure put the blood pressure up. It does it to me too. But remember this game is all about suspicion so don't take it personally. If you are good, you can agree how confusing it is to not know who the baddies are, so blame gets thrown everywhere. So remember that. Also, even if you die, you still win if you're team wins at the end. So dying isn't losing. Cubie - you said you KNOW FB is bad and you KNOW HiddenG is good. But the game hasn't been going on long enough for you to know both for sure... Doc and spy: don't "out" your roles although I already know who you both are. (ok 99% sure). And I know the doc won't out himself, neither does he need to. We need to hide our power roles from the baddies.

@ Cube - that's your opinion but if I was a baddie, why didn't I vote for good22? If I wanted EDM dead and I'm a baddie, I would have manipulated the votes to make her lose. What you're saying doesn't make sense. I think you're trying to push a lot of blame around and it makes me more suspicious of you whereas I had started thinking you were good....

I just want to point out I'm a she not a he. Also, EDM, I wasn't voting you cos I think you're necessarily bad, just tying the vote to see what the baddies did. (whose votes were strengthened) to hopefully expost the baddies. Guys, EDM is saying she is a vanilla role (one with no night ability).

Klue - i think what you aren't realising is that if I was a baddie and wanted good22 dead, i could have left my vote where it was and he still would have been lynched. Now I can explain the plan that I couldn't expose last night: the reason I tied the votes is because I wanted to see which way the baddies swayed it. So I was risking us losing a goodie, but gaining the advantage that it would expose the baddies. Well, that's what I'd hoped. If EDM and I were both baddies, I could have left everything how it was. By tieing the votes, I endangered her where there was no danger. This is not because I suspected her but in order to see whose votes ended up "winning". Klue, you said you had a plan? Sorry I couldn't read between the lines last night to figure your plan out. Luckily the votes settled in such a way that I could do my plan. And now we have the end result we both wanted: some voting patterns to analyse. Unless the baddies weren't in the tie at all... But if they were, it puts Petrus and HiddenG under the spotlight... And Klue voted that way too but I'm not getting scum signals from him this game. (Hey, I told you from the start I get suspicious. I don't know why you always hold that against me and take offence.). Klue still has suspect voting patterns but there were people in HPY2 with suspect voting patterns who turned out to be goodies. So I say we focus on Petrus and HiddenG who have been acting baddie-like. I'm assuming that faced with a tie, the baddies manipulated it to eliminate the guy they wanted out (who they were voting for.)

@Klue - there's not much I can do to save her other than not voting for her, and I'm already not voting for her. And I'm not sure of her innocence, anyway. I cant explain my plan now but tomorrow I will explain why i voted the way im voting. If i explain now, it defeats the purpose.

You are being very mysterious with your comments, Klue. I wish I knew what it is you are trying to show with the votes. But dw, don't explain as it will give the baddies an idea what to cover up. I had a plan to analyse the votes but now that everyone is moving votes around, i have to make a new plan. Grrrrr. It's 5:30 a.m - my brain can't deal with this right now!

If Klue is a baddie, he is doing a good job of acting goodie. Anon seems in the same boat. EDM is very hard to read (she acts bad when she's good and good when she's bad,....... and good when she's good and most of all, bad when she is bad!) I am leaning towards thinking some of the newer players are baddies due to various goings on, I think RT dying was probably unrelated and random (I wouldn't be that obvious so I doubt Klue or anon would be, probably EDM wouldn't but she is unpredictable.) So that's about it and I'm probably completely wrong but hopefully voting patterns and the N2 post gives more to go on.

So Klue: just to clarify, are you voting for good22 because you think he's bad? Or in order to have the votes in such a way that the baddies will expose themselves? Just a FYI: i am hoping the distribution of votes exposes the baddies and also, i haven't settled my vote yet. I don't actually believe Petrus as bad, either; it's all a stab in the dark (and like I said, seeing what the baddies do). I have no concrete suspicions on anyone but tomorrow I will have some suspects.

Okay, so EDM said she didn't put an action in as she didn't have time or came into the game late or something. Now, we can see that the baddie blocker didn't act. So EDM could be the baddie blocker. Although I would expect her to make sure to put an action in (although maybe that's what she wants us to think.) She could be the baddie blocker OR she could easily be a goodie with no action and the baddie blocker could be a new player who didnt get their action in on time. Petrus hasn't given any defense so I'll leave my vote there for now. If it ties, it will be random who gets lynched (out of EDM and Petrus). Maybe we let the coin flip decide :shrug:

Petrus, you have two votes on you so you need to give a defense or some kind of info. All your posts have been off topic, not related to any votes on you. It's like you're avoiding the issue.... EDM - defense please <~~~~ Li language. (btw, you don't want to die D1/N1 again! ... Do you?)

I started playing about a month ago, I think. But since then I have played 6 games, am in 2 current games and signed up for two others. So I've been busy. Plus I won a game on MafiaManiac.net as an Independent (so I was my own teammate against the goodies and baddies) so I am inexperienced and experienced all at the same time! (MafiaManiac is where many of us play; Araver is one of the Admins. We have some interesting games and everyone gets a special power. You're all welcome to check it out! We love fresh meat... oh did I say that out loud?)

The part about voting was aimed at all new players, just as a random educational topic . After all, this is supposed to be a Training Game. So whether we are on the same side or different sides, I still like to educate about my new favourite hobby, MAFIA!
