This is how I see it: Aaryan spied nox on N1 and then in his eagerness to get him lynched, came up with a weak accusation. (I should have picked up on how he kept focusing on what it would mean if nox was a baddie, w/out considering what it would mean if nox was a goodie.) So I took that line of reasoning as quite scummy, especially when he stuck to it and didnt offer anything more. Now, from Aaryan's point of view, he knew he was a powerful goodie and that nox was a powerful baddie so seeing as I was first to jump on Aaryan, he naturally figured that I was defending a team mate. I see no harm in saying this, I am a "vanilla" goodie. And after this, I will have a shower and a shave. I'm no threat to the baddies and they already know who the goodies are plus only Harry has RID kill. I don't know what faction Q is but I know he has not had internet access. This is not me defending him, just sharing info. I don't know who to vote for so I will add a vote to q-cumber. Reason = to add pressure so hopefully either peace or Q will say something in defense.

I will play as a player, an inactivity backup or a guide/trainer if any newer players feel they would like one. (i know I'm not as experienced as many others but I have a pretty decent handle on things.) When the time comes, just slot me in wherever I'm required.

I haven't seen anything from Aaryan that defends himself, in fact I think he's making it worse. Not only is it a weak defense but it actually sounds like the voting motivation of a baddie. @Yodell - i was the first one to post the roster and I just added the votes in random colours...no meaning behind it! I have nothing more to add at this point as Araver has summed it up nicely.

@ Kokiri - nobody knows who to vote for in the early days. If we all just read and didn't post, the game would go nowhere. The point of voting is to put pressure on people and get them talking. In an average game, people move their votes around to get info from different people rather than voting once for someone you know is bad. The game thrives on interaction and as you can see, it doesn't work when no one posts. It actually gives the game to the baddies as they just go on killing each night! Even though the majority of us have no info to share, just by getting people to post, it gives out unintentional info or things you can go back to later and prove as inconsistencies. Also, if we can prove some people as good, we can narrow down our suspicions a bit. However with minimal posts, the goodies stay in the dark. Okay I will move my vote to kristamark for now. I'm not sure that the goodies can win this now. Just by looking at the numbers.

Um... Aaryan. That is the most "baddie" kind of contrived defence I have heard. First of all, even a "newb" baddie has powers and can kill off (block etc) a goodie each night. Second, if an experienced person is a goodie, we need them alive. Third, you would rather have 1 less goodie but have the peace of mind that we are up against newbies? How will you know until we lynch all the experienced people? Fourth, we need the active people because trust me, it's not fun talking to the walls. Roster: JK Rowling: Shadow7 Random House: Akriti 1. On my ipod. Could the next voter (if there is one), please add my vote for kokiri for not voting. If you are a goodie, why aren't you helping us? If you are a baddie, there is a reason why you may not have voted (although it's weird), because our spy was going down regardless. And to add a vote wouldve meant either closing the gap or putting one on yodell which would make you look like a baddie later on. Come on people, this is boring me to tears playing this game out to the end but I refuse to quit.

@Aaryan - yes, but you don't really know if she was serious or not so you go away with no more info than you started with. EDM is experienced...she knows what she's doing, and she certainly wouldn't act suspicious on N1! (....sniffle...snort....BAhahaha, HAhahaha :lol: .....aw my stomach hurts.) (Anyhow, E.D.M is probably just having trouble expressing herself due to the dearth of emoticons on this site compared to mafiamaniac.)

Okay, Yodell let on before she died that she was the inspector so .... make of that what you will. Really sorry you died Yodell. That sucks! One of the most active players AND the inspector! I think one of the baddies picked up on your hint (let that be a lesson to you!) Whoever the guard and doctor is - double check everything you post before you post it as it is really easy to unintentionally say something that gives away your role. Okay guys, we can still win this. But people, you have to be active by voting during the day cycle and using any night action (if you have one) during the night cycle. Each cycle goes for 24 hours and if anyone needs clarification on time zone conversion, just ask in the thread. xD

@ Yodell - Huh! Well that's a fine how do you do! There are a lot of things I could say but....hmmm...idk, the walls have ears atm. First off, I am in 3 mafias at the moment and I didn't realise this one had picked up pace and started properly. Secondly, I am a goodie. (Just had to put that in.) Thirdly - it is the oldest trick in the book for the baddies to self block on night one. (Yes they can do that.) Fourthly - the inspector can spy me tonight and if I am a baddie, you can lynch me tomorrow with my blessing. (Then again, I don't really want the inspector to out him or herself.) In answer to your questions - if someone is blocked, their action does not go through. However, spies do not always appear in the night post, even if they were successful. Usually, night kill over rides everything (except if the killer is killed or possibly blocked) but you will have to check with the hosts. If someone is killed, their action doesn't usually go through (but again, the hosts can make any rules they wish.) Hosts: Fox and Nox 1. Psychosmurf - killed by the mafia 2. Akriti 3. Kokiri971 4. I'll take kristmark's place and I fixed the roster as I'm sure people picked odds or evens for a reason.... My personal preference is to use PMs and post it in it's entirety at the end, or in chunks throughout. It makes less temptation for those weak of will! But whatever, It's not a big deal which way we do it.

In my explanation, I meant to say: the baddies win if they outnumber the goodies. There are usually way less baddie roles than goodie roles.

*Taps foot impatiently (and somewhat in withdrawals)* Why am I signed up for 3 Mafias that are right on the verge of starting? And 1 that is in lo-o-ong N1 phase (with no posts for me to analyse.) :excl: So I will sit and wait and in a couple of days I will be over run with things to think about and post about. Turn that frown upside down.
