Hi Neil, welcome to the Den! Hope you enjoy it here. If you get a chance check out the games section and Mafia (and the riddles/puzzles of course). We're always looking for new players. If Mafia isn't your thing though, we understand. (Er. Most of us do. But that might go with MiKi's insanity speech so I'll leave that to her. She'll probably be here soon. . . MiKi may or may not be armed with a taser. . .) As for your question about signatures, if you look at the upper right corner of the screen, you should see your username and a drop down list. Click on "My Settings." That should take you to a page with some options on the left hand side. One of them should say "Signature." I think the rest is self explanatory from there. Can't help you with the lottery. Hope to see you around the Den!

Usually, there will be a little pop up thing at the top of the screen that tells you someone posted. It will ask if you want to show the new post. I don't think it reloads the page. Just adds the post to the bottom. It does take a little while for the message to pop up though. -

To use a RID save, you have to ID the player and their role. For example, if you were Courta and you were about to be lynched, the RID save would have to give the host your user name and role. RID save WitchOfDoubt as Courta or something along those lines. IDK about Nina.

OK. So for the first one, you can multiply the 3 by a/a and combine. That should give you 1/[(3a+1)/a]. a gets flipped up to the top. That should give you a/(3a+1). For the second one, you should manipulate the bottom of the fraction so that the denominator is ab. That gets flipped up to the top. ab/(a+b). Does that help? EDIT: Err. That would be after doing what I put in the previous post.

Not completely sure what you are asking for. Do these equal 0 or something? Do you want to solve for a or b? Do these look right? (3+a-1)-1 (a-1+b-1)-1 If you want to get rid of the exponents, you can do the first one like this: The -1 exponent around the entire expression means 1 over the expression. So you have 1/(3+a-1). The -1 exponent with the a means you have to flip that one. So you get 1/[3+(1/a)]. Doing the same thing to the 2nd one gives you 1/[(1/a)+(1/b)]. If you find a common denominator for the bottom part, you can clean them up a bit. Not convinced that was what you were looking for so please clarify what you are trying to do.

WoD said taking out letters in each one right? I understand what the 10 letters are but can only find where a couple of them are coming from. Are these common words or should I pull out the dictionary? Unless I misread the part about taking out a letter. . . -
