POSIT - if 0 then S is the last letter. From POURS - 1, not the PO from POSIT - 0, not the U as the O is already established as the third letter, and not the R from SCORE - 1 (the afore mentioned O)

hey hey MoMoney, t_l too - this one will not have a single letter as an answer but rather each of the ten lines will have a one word answer found similarly to my previous "one letter" riddles.

LIONS - if 2 then LI are the first two letters; not O from TROUT - 0, not N from BUNNY - 0 and not S from GOATS - 0. - if 1 then I is the second letter. Must be L or I from the same reasoning as above. also KITTY - 1 shows one of KI is correct as not T from OTTER - 0, not T from GOATS - 0, and not Y from BUNNY - 0. Assuming the K is correct then the I is wrong but we've already established either the L or I must be right from LIONS - 1 and it cannot be the L if the K is right; therefore I must be the second letter. - if 0 then K is the first letter since KITTY - 1 and not the I from LIONS - 0, not the T from OTTER - 0, not the T from GOATS - 0, and not the Y from BUNNY - 0.

dont know that I would say better but indeed my intended answer. dont think this one was up to snuff but at least now lain to rest. well done DD. only the last clue remains and like my other two similar themed puzzles (links in the OP), this one has a little twist ...so to speak.

Nice one trihard3d! and another great solve DD. followed all along but couldn't come up with a worthy response that had not already been investigated. had an inkling this one was not going to disappoint. whoever prematurely voted one star is now undoubtedly a little more than embarrassed and thoroughly proved wrong. such sweet vindication. again, nice. cheers

needless to say... correct not a bad interpretation at all, Cat. of the twelve clues, this one is the weakest for sure. would say you are 1/4 correct? good to go nah, and funny, was thinking similarly with "well" re plasmid's latest but suspect DD has that one solved. btw, takes two to tango
