I'm going to go with knitting...yarn around/yarn over... edging doesn't make any sound because you only use one needle, die-hard knitters suffer for their craft willingly (one of my best friends has exntensive nerve damage in her wrists and continues to knit anyway)..Pain to others? Have <i>you</i> ever gotten a knitted sweater from grandma on christmas? yuk! (lol, j/k!) of course, I have no idea what the title has to do with it...
