Question

I will measure the weight of your shoe.

Not really pressure, but resistance will do.

Measure a stomp, as your foot in a pound.

And tell me how hard your foot hit the ground.

actually the riddle describes work. foot pounds are a unit of work.

torque was the target of the riddle, the force used to do the work.

sure, no mention of rotation was made, but in order to stomp your foot, your hip and knee must rotate...

Dude, let a riddle stand for what it is, if you don't like it, just skip it. What is it with people not reading the rules, lately. People need to read the rules. Riddles aren't necessarily exact. Let a riddle stand for what if is, for crying out loud. Don't try and correct it. Make your own and see how perfect if can be. GOD!!!

FYI, foot-pounds can be used as a unit for torque or work (also energy).
