The first line made me think of the letters "un"

unreasonable is both with "reason" but without reason.

And my mind wants to get this guess out of the way before guessing anything else, lol

I see YET in the initial letters of the second verse, so I'm guessing the answer is either Yeti, or the answer to the second verse is meant to be plugged into the first line of the riddle "with yet, without reason"

songwriter...??? or a detective...???

maybe just a criminal...i doubt it...

sorry, no.

Sherlock Holmes

Very good one, my first thought...

not it but a very good one (guess). If it was the riddle itself is a good one, thanks!

oooh.....please let it be the right answer.... :D

well, I guess you heard the news...

Fact/Truth ?

Hello there Wilson, not it but good guesses as always.

Hoping it does not matter and in the way of an apology, the title was not the one intended so dont let that throw you and/or disregard totally. Sorry.

Good morning plainglazed, nice to see you! And this fabulous riddle.

a criminal?

Hey MrsP. Good to see you as well. Nice seeing you here over the weekend, too. He's not one of those tho.

oh....never mind :)

a liar...???

OK, neverminded. Nah, I'm lying. Not one of those.

i like the sherlock holmes guess, and with the confuscate inspection part i will say the inspector from the pink panther...inspector cluseau (not sure about the spelling)

not him tho a great topic for next time. Well, may have to wait longer than that.

Salve Magister!

Latin prefixes/suffixes etc.....

If so..... have I "hit the nail on the head" (construe)?

Not very good with dead languages.

Maybe I'm just Nuts!

better than I am with dead languages. Cant even interpret your guess other than to recongize the answer is not included :)

Yes I was refering to the Riddle....lol

And thanks (everyone) for the compliment on that guess...

Now got to try even harder to make an impressive 2nd guess...biggrin.gif

Am anxiously awaiting guess number two.

Another something I will say: The answer, tho described as he, is not gender specific. Probably no help but thought I would mention anyway.
