When i heard of this i thought it sounded awesome.

here's how it works, OP will post a picture then anyone who wants can take that photo and put a different picture into it, then someone else will and on to the edited picture and so on.

after about 20 edits or when people stop editing i was thinking we would have everyone vote on the which edit was best and the one with the most votes will when.

there is one thing i'm worried about those i'm not sure how many people have some type of photo shop so if you do and you are willing to participate plz post and say so.

No need for scanner, just an image editor - search the web for the GIMP. It's free, open source and multi-platform.

Definitely keen if I have time this week - what sort of image do we start with?

This is a great idea! I need to brush up on my Photoshopping skills though (not that I ever had any ). I do have GIMP for Linux though. If I get a chance to play around with the program, I'll play for sure.
