OK, hint time
1)for sewer, use "person who sews"

2)I originally had 1 answer in mind, but post-posting I realized there are actually several answers (surprisingly, not one of them has been mentioned yet)

- that gotta be worth some stars - but cautiously I'll await the answer in case !!!

Singer. You know the thread-breaking never-tensioning cloth-pulling hole-ripping button-chipping embroiding-knotting hand-stabbing nail-puncturing ace-kicking super-fast

- Singerpepsi 9000i DVD-KO with MP3 SPOOLER

Close maybe!!!

Edit = bad spoiler placement

It's sewer's, so it's supposed to be a possessive.

You're heating up. Just take it a step further
WOW! - ok you majored in Needlepoint!!!!!

Bobbin - nah!

Pattern - nope!

Embroidering - Mmmm!

Directional Borders: Borders that flow in a particular direction - my sister thinks

others

I have three sisters that make wedding dresses, adjustments and various needle, card crafts

That's their best shot - but we are talking 'cloth for brains' - but salt of the earth type people!

Good tries, but the answer is actually quite simple. Everyone has definitely heard of it without any doubt.

Mmmm!
A pedal

Goes up and down though, well actually it's sort of fulcrum and pulley I believe.

Try for

The thing on the thread feeder, a nozzle - don't know if that has another name, but we have all heard of nozzle - if you haven't then you have now!

well, here's the answer, I'm sticking a fork in this one. don't look if you still want to give it a shot

screw - easy right?

I also would have excepted anything that uses a spiral thread to move like a bolt or a twist bottle cap

This one does not hit the spot for me (had to look cos I was sure I wasn't gonna get it, now I know I wouldn't have) - most do not go back and forth, and cant relate it to sewer/s

Sorry if I'm picking again, I can't help it.
