0 Molly Mae
How did you teach yourself? Morse code has a logical method for determining patterns for each letter. There was actually someone on BD who inadvertently recreated Morse Code. I'm gonna go find that thread...
0 Guest
Morse code has a logical method for determining patterns for each letter. There was actually someone on BD who inadvertently recreated Morse Code. I'm gonna go find that thread... It's based off the same principle as Huffman encoding. It's based off the letter distribution of the English language, such that letters used more frequently use a shorter code string. That's why E and T are just a dot and a dash, respectively. E and T are the most frequently used letters in the English language. A, N and I are also used more often than most other letter, so that's why they have only two symbols in their makeup.
