0 fabpig
hey fabpig - mostly wanted to let you know am still in the hunt for these last few. cut cute was going to add "never say die" which spawned - die/diet? EDIT: added to spoiler Thanks for keeping this one alive PG, I think it had stalled a bit. Sorry, but got to say no to both. Purely on the grounds that 'trimmer' implies a comparative, and not so in your answers - in this case it's not a comparative. I am glad, though, that you picked this one, as it's the one I had most trouble with (and still do) as I had to go for a less well-known usage of the word. If I'd gone for the more obvious, I think it would've been a 'gimme'. Hope its not tooo obscure. I now appreciate the angst of a puzzle-setter....... How gormless am I?.... fell into my own trap of seeing the wrong part of speech! In your 2nd answer, the 2nd part could of course be a 'trimmer': but I still can't equate the first part with 'broke'. But then, the way the brain cell is working, I could easily have missed something obvious. Pls let me know if I have.

0 fabpig
Hi guys, Circumstances have dictated that the Den is lower on my priorities than I would like - hopefully, normal service will be resumed ASAP. In the meantime, I'll look in as and when I can. In response to the above: Hey up, thissen , Wilson (even tho I'm not a Yorkie: about 70 or so miles SE ish of you, from what I can make out) Sorry but gotta say no. PG, t'would be churlish of me to 'no', as your answer meets both criteria, so OK, but I'll leave it open as well.... EDM, - poppet - It is wrong but if you take one of your words and add an additional word (choice of 2) you have a relatively good clue........! So: broke trimmer - also passed rapper existing bubble - also settle stir gems beauty - see comment to EDM Edited January 19, 2011 by fabpig

0 fabpig
gala/galaH -a galah is a type of cockatoo found in Australia Yo moje, yep, sure does work: will add you to the credits. I think from now on, any answers to clues which already have my preferred solution will be ignored. Of course, any alternative (acceptable) solutions to unanswered clues will be considered.
