0 Guest
I think the question is poorly phrased, but if this is what you mean, then You will have 19 bottles. For the first two your friend gives you, you get a free one. Then each additional one your friend gives you gets you another free one. So you end up with the 10 you got from your friend plus 9 free ones. Every 2 bottles i get, i get 1 free bottle. My friend just gave me 10 bottles. How many bottles do i now have in total. 0 plainglazed
30 bottles - must have gotten 20 bottles to be given 10 (free) bottles
0 Shakeepuddn
You make a distinction between the ones you get and the ones for free. The ones from your freind were free so they don't count, as you didn't "get them, so you only have 10. OR Your friend's free bottles are in lieu of the ones you've gotten, which means you have 30. 0 Scudo
1 2 ---1 free 3 4 ---2 free 5 6 ---3 free 7 8 ---4 free 9 10 ---5 free If you get another 2 free from 4 of the five free you have 17 bottles, but you get another free from the last two giving you 18, then that one plust the one left from the five gives you another free...you now have 19. Using this logic...the first person to answer this clue, g0atb0y37, is correct. Edited December 22, 2009 by Scudo

0 Guest
I think that you should show me these bottles so that i may count them... 19: everytime you get 2 free bottles, you get an additional free bottle, so every 2 bottles you have after the first 2 get you 2 free ones instead of just one. i think. 0 Guest
10, because your friend gave you 10, not 2, so no freebies!

0 Guest
yes 19 is the correct answer... 2 bottles u get+1 free=3 3bottles u have +1 u get= 4 then u get 1 free bottle and so on hence on reaching 10 bottles which u get...u will have 19 bottles... 0 Guest
If the sentence meant that the friend gave you not free ones: 19 However, if the 10 he gave you were free:
