Question

Oblivious to your plight,

the world spins on it's axis;

Throughout blood sweat and tears,

and the most rigorous practice.

They come one by one,

claws flash at the wounds.

Bear the pain, fight in silence,

the end will come all too soon.

A glimmer of hope......

but that light has gone out.

Fear and frustration builds;

sureness fades into doubt.

As your last breath is drawn,

see the predators' mad grins.

Fallen form shoved aside,

a new dance it begins.

I really thought that this one would be solved by now... Just goes to show that you never can tell exactly how everyone will interpret your thoughts...

Everyone (who isn't colorblind) knows that the color red is red... But how do we know that red to them doesn't look exactly the same as green does to us?? Maybe that kind of reasoning along with the other clues I have given will 'light a fire under' this one and help us get 'back in the swing of things'... Great now I'm doing it too... Thanks PG

Funny when your trying to think of idioms nothing comes to mind, when you don't need them anymore they're "falling like rain".rolleyes.gif

It's funnt how you never realize how many idioms are used daily until someone makes you try to come up with a couple dozen of them... Now the hard part is trying 'not' to use them anymore :D

A Dream, or Nightmare.

there isn't really any relationship with being colorblind... Sorry for any confusion, but what I was trying to say with the hint is that you need to change perspectives...

That said, you're a little closer... But still overthinking...

almost everyone who reads this riddle will say

:duh: when this is over... The answer isn't necessarily hidden in plain sight, but it has been staring you right in the eye the whole time...
