I always hate the first night/day of this game. I think the last two times I played I was killed overnight and voted off the next day.

Although Nietzsche talks of the Uber man, which is translated into Superman. I actually have an Uberman t-shirt compliments of an ex-girlfriend.

Really? I thought the only legal requirement was that you come to a complete stop. He can scan the area before coming to his complete stop though. Either way, I found a major flaw with his argument. I'll post it in a couple days if no one figures it out.

I played D2 while in elementary/high school and I sold gear from it on eBay. It was a good way to make a few hundred bucks as a kid. When I quit I sold my account for at least $100. Eventually the standard builds got boring and I started to make my own. My favourite was the firewall sorceress. Her firewall stretched screens and screens away, it was funny. Her fire enchantment spell also really spiked people's damage because it was synergistic to the firewall. I'm just sad that the D3 team got my $60. They don't care if I play because they already got their money.

Ok, there is a story about a California physics prof who is able to get out of a traffic ticket by submitting an essay to the judge. A man walks into a bar and asks the bartender that if he can show him something amazing that he's never seen before, can he drink for free that night. The bartender agrees and the man pulls a little piano out of his bag. DC Universe Online is a pretty basic MMORPG where you make your own hero/villain and you go around Gotham or Metropolis It is a relatively cool game, really simplified for skills (but complex at the same time). The only issue is that the end game comes really quickly (level 30) and from then on it is grinding. Still a fun game to play though. It is also free for PC or PS3. It was initially Pay-to-Play but didn't get the subscribers they needed, so now it is a freemium game. As for D3, that game kind of sucks, I'm disappointed by it. I played D1, I played D2 (I had 90+ hardcore characters in D2), and yet playing D3 I have a 50+ and a couple 20s. It just isn't the same, the game just doesn't feel right.

Just out of curiousity... do you play DC Universe Online?

I would assume that the scoring system is based upon position and differs by 1 per spot. Whether you want to award 131 points for first and 1 point for last and whoever has the most points wins. OR Probably easier would be to give first place 1 point and 131st 131 points and make it like golf where the lowest score is best.

That explains why it worked perfectly until you hit triple digits.

What is the frequency of requests for an elevator? If we assume that only one person rides it at a time, that gives a different figure than if the elevator is constantly filling up.
