A magic royal of the sun
Of many ends for love undone,
A Georgia peach of oils fair
Assuaging fire from a dare.
Secrets whispered of a stone
Confounding arms from serpent grown.
A sibling cast upon the trail
Bit by bit the hunter fails.
Bubble, bubble, toil, trouble
Plastic, glass, or tree.
Kiss my full bewitching lips
And soon you’ll worship me.
Toil, trouble, misty bubbles
Take your breath away,
But when the man is near at hand
I fear I cannot stay.
I rank higher than the privates,
Commander of the Line,
The uniform my noble goal
Security ‘cross time.
Underway and under knots
My medal borne with pride,
Within my grasp a flag, sans mast
All noblemen would fly.
Thanks folks. I was amazed that nobody nailed it sooner.
As for the person who voted it worth only one star, I would certainly appreciate your input as to how I could make my riddles, crappy as they are, live up to your standards. After all, a one star rating is meant to indicate an utter failure worthy of the garbage bin, and not one's frustration with his or her inability to solve a riddle. So perhaps some examples of your own for guidance? Thanks.
