Okay...since I don't think you're understanding. It's not complicated. It is a list. It's a list that can be accessed off-site. It's a list that keeps links in order. It's not complicated. It's no different from typing the below line, which includes your name, the name of the game, the number of players, where it's at in queue, and a link to the game. So pi never repeats, eh? Assume that an arbitrary number extends into infinity without ever repeating in whole. Tell me: what is the number of digits needed to guarantee that any string of 5 numbers is repeated?

If it's not for emphasis, I'd guess that it's a symbol. It's not so uncommon (since we've been brought into the light) to find groups of people who use symbols to designate places, typically for meet-ups and the like. If you're on the Trail of Secrets, I'd look for an elevated boulder or something that the symbol might represent.
