plainglazed
In every single line of the riddle below Are two conclusions to reach Like Dancer's; two meanings each Now you've found them both but still to do Make the connection between the two: She's not yet arrived as expected A flower not fully detected Plucked from her bed Intentions misled This development must be thoroughly inspected

0 plainglazed
i'm terrible at explanation........She's not yet arrived as expected..... not fully blossomed (mature)/ she is missing A flower not fully detected.......... not bloomed or blossomed/ overlooked or missing the flower Plucked from her bed............picked after blossoming/ flower is missing from its bed (soil) Intentions misled This development must be thoroughly inspected in other words, both have similar meanings in different context... Some of these I would agree are a stretch but these types are really tough to compose and the real subject I am wanting to reveal is the connection here between the two words. She's not yet arrived as expected -- missing: defined by not yet arrived as expected -- blossom: as in the state of flowering (for a person or a flower) A flower not fully detected -- missing: defined by not fully detected (flower used metaphorically) -- blossom: same as first correlation above plucked from her bed -- missing: is a kidnapped reference so gone missin -- blossom: picked from a flower bed intentions misled *** -- missing: intention = meaning; misled = gone astray -- blossom: as developing from bud to flower, full beauty is not yet realized This change must be thoroughly inspected -- missing: especially if kidnapped but even other things missing are inspected or looked for -- blossom: as someone or a flower is developing in a pleasing way, inspecting or looking at is common Now what is the connection here between the words blossom and missing? That is the final answer. ***intentions was a typo and really should have read intention but discovered too late to correct***

Alas, not the case this time and not the connection here I'm hoping will be found. Cant deny that what you have come up with is true. Will say yours, unlike mine, has nothing to do with the title (and is not one word). Edited June 22, 2009 by plainglazed

Not really sure about my answer, but thinking I should give it a try...going along with someone's guess as kidnapped..I am thinking along the lines, of a young girl/teen getting taken. So young, not mature (Blossomed) not now missing. Get where I am going? Kind of dark. Probably not it, I will chew on it some more. Edit: I may not even have the right idea on how to connect them anyway. Edited June 22, 2009 by MrsP

It might help to look at the words seperately and see what comes to mind without the other and then see if there might be a tie in. Thanks so much for giving it a stab. Going back to yours.
