Keep in mind, I have no idea what I'm doing for sure, so don't laugh.In your local armory N UR CA Ry NURCARY Nursery? That's hilarious that you think I might laugh (smiling only). Not nursery but see where you're coming from. This one's a little different than my previous *Quickie* pows. Not breaking down the answer into letters per se but more like *POW, my second riddle* (using hole words for the most part). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CLOSE??? Well hello John_B and welcome. If you care to look, the last recap was on post #97. Have established the common thread for each of the five words, too, somewhere since then. If instead you just want to plug thru by your lonesome... 1. Easter is correct. 2. Lie is right, different fifth needed. 4. concept of lifeline is correct, need a different one, and concept of no aid is correct as well. 5. doesnt work with 4. but 3. and 4. kinda do. And if that doesnt do it, am thinking about another "spark" as well.you are onto something with that *lifeline* palm- alm = p, for the lifeline clue, but how that could connect to the "I want to be a millionaire" type lifeline I can't guess. Is there a special phone for emergency calls, ship to shore or sos radio ? no connection with palm or palm reading in this word. solely the other one that tiger_lilly111 mentions in post #15 re the gameshow. Question
plainglazed
Could be the perfect storm
But no, not either or.
And for not telling the truth
I've plead the fifth before.
'Cause in your local armory
You might swap me in kind,
For this life line's no aid;
Is another way to find.
A forceful piece that's constant
Carved a slice of special cake.
Put it all together and
Some sense of this you'll make.
