A man comes to a lawyer and offers him $100 to answer a few legal questions. After he asks the questions, he gives the lawyer a $100 bill. When the man leaves, the lawyer realizes that there were actually two $100 bills stuck together.

Now the ethical dilemma: should he split the $200 with his partner?

I think that is the joke: the lawyer doesn't consider giving the money back, just whether or not he should split it with his partner - lawyer ethics.
