0 Guest
me thinks the right answer is a chia pets (~ch ch ch chia~) 1. the first part says 'bring pleasure' who doesnt have pleasure in the presence of a chia pet?!? 2. the second says 'i take pain' well chia pets can be thrown right so... 3. thirdly, it says it expands and so its the chia pet's hair that grows 4. fourthly i have no idea what contract means but i guess chia pets do that to!! 0 Guest
Maybe lungs pleasure from smoking pain from child birth expand and contract - obvious Not what I was thinking, but another good answer. I haven't really thought of lungs being in pain due to childbirth. Think in terms of the extreme. 0 Guest
Edit: apparently the male anatomy is off limits... it's not a typouterus or wenis ...uh, I just found out what the wenis is, and no that's not it. And... well... if this were the TV show "Jeopardy, " I could not accept uterus as an acceptable answer. I was thinking more along the lines of something else, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on why you picked that. 0 Guest
uterus I bring pleasure a baby after pregnancy I take pain being pregnant is painful, so it takes pain to do Expand I do should be obvious And contract again contracts after the baby is out Great explanation. I am glad I didn't say there was ONLY one answer. I will accept that, though it truly was not what I had as the answer. So let's store that one and come up with another one. 0 Guest
If not a smile (too acute), then definitely a mouth would fit the riddle. Mouthes do take pain, but think of the phrase 'take pain' in terms of 'threshold of pain', not just the ability to feel pain. I see your point. 0 Guest
Hot air balloon? Hot air balloons don't really take pain, do they? And if they do, I would hate to see how they react to the pain.

I see your point. Actually I wasn't even thinking the ability to feel pain, I was thinking the ability to speak and take away (or relieve) emotional pain in others. 0 itachi-san
Not had that pleasure, Smoking and child birth! I hear smoking while having your baby decreases the pain a lot... But yeah, I was referring to different times or different people.
0 Guest
Your HEART??? Could be, but not what I was looking for. I can give lots of pleasure. I can take lots of pain (most of the time I'd rather not, but sometimes I might like the pain). I can expand if necessary, and when also necessary, I go back to my original state of being.
