Correct. A derivative of a function is representative of the trajectory, which is synonymous with 'course'
0 Yoruichi-san
Okay admittedly the first one is actually not correctly sourced, but it's commonly attributed to him (or was when I made this puzzle). The E is referring to probability, not physics. The formula in the parenthesis on the rhs is referring to a particular shape in polar coordinates. For the second one, U is referring to, like, economics, the numbers are in units of seconds. For the last, again, number is in units of seconds on the first part, second part is a known by name as a particular equation.

0 DudleyDude
Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore, so do our minutes hasten to their end; Each changing place with that which goes before, In sequent toil all forwards do contend. 0 Yoruichi-san
Actually just the first half, but nicely solved . The function is the commonly known as the wave equation, that's going towards the pebbled shore, as the minutes hasten to their end, exponentially .
