Question

Hi dear students....if any one of you fail in an exam.,he can convince his parents with this argument:

(I`ll proove it mathmatically)

If you study.....you will not fail,so:

study=No failure.......(1)

and if you don`t study....you will fail:

No study=failure.......(2)

by joining the two eguations(1) and(2):

study+No study=failure+No failure

study(1+No)=failure(1+No).........deviding by (1+No)

study=failure... :rolleyes:

So friends....why should we study?!! :lol:

that makes sense, in a weird, BD-ish way. But I know if told my folks this, they would find a way to turn it into a philosophical discussion. Like last night, when I told them this joke:

1)good grades

2)enough sleep

3)social life

Pick 2 and welcome to college!

My dad found a way to say, 'the smart person will not pick the same two all the time. Like a maze, when you're in it, its hard to solve, but if you rise above, you can see all. I rose above the maze...<insert philosophical discussion here>"

It's a math goof where 1=2 by dividing by zero. Trust me when I say you don't want to get mixed in with dividing by zero. It gets too confusing. :wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko:

For those that want to see it go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iceFDrhK73U.

Im talking about statments 1 and 2. to combine them (i think) they would have to equal each other. i dont see this.

<_< this is what happens when you do too many proofs in geometry.

@peace each equation has side a and side b right? They added side a of one equation to side a of the other and did the same with side b of each so it's valid math... like take x=y and a=b then x+a=y+b
