Question

I bend to your will,

I will be in your will,

When you think of me,

You will often remember cold,

Through space and through time,

Always, a place I have had,

What am I?

Here's todays hint biggrin.gif

Where doth I live?

Not under hill,

Not round hill,

But rather right on top,

To trickle down like pleasant rain,

To all in chosen spot,

Dark Magician,

Your brethren of old,

Have tried to make me,

In olden times, so long ago,

From naught but lead,

To be sure,

They only wound up dead,

I bend to your will, - Gold is soft and ductile

I will be in your will, - Gold will be passed to your relatives

When you think of me,

You will often remember cold, - Gold is mined in colder areas

Through space and through time,

Always, a place I have had, - Gold always has and always will have a place

What am I?

I knew the last hint was a little too much laugh.gif Good job smile.gif

The "cold" is a bit misleading.

Yes, gold is mined in some colder areas, but it's only recently that China has overtaken South Africa as the world's leading producer....and I don't consider SA to be cold. It's also produced in some volume in Australia, Mali, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and the Caribbean. So, when I think of "gold", I don't of "cold" (other than it rhymes)
