Hello, folks! For this puzzle the answers are current movie titles. The "bait and switch" is that each of the original titles were anagrammed and then the words of the anagrammed title were replaced with synonyms. Can you retrace the path to the original movie title?
That Man Outsmart = He Outwit :anagram: Whiteout
1. Sweet Shop
2. Geeks Like Fiction

4. A Psychic Oxter
5. Trendy Humor

The civil war started, the military divided,
Both sides were stubborn, but it eventually subsided.
The South was still mad, but back they started to trickle,
Even though their attitude was as sour as a pickle. - armadillo (army dill oh )?

These are the state symbols of Texas
I think that the beginning is the best place to start.
Bound for Virginia settlers depart.
By the Chesapeake Bay is where Jamestown sat,
Filled with patriotic men and women with lacy hats. - This could be bluebonnet the state flower or Blue Lacy the state dog
As the country grew, it’s freedom was saved,
Well, everyone except those who were enslaved.
Some of them were teased, others were shunned,
Causing both North and South to pull out their guns. - Northern Mocking Bird the state bird
The civil war started, the military divided,
Both sides were stubborn, but it eventually subsided.
The South was still mad, but back they started to trickle,
Even though their attitude was as sour as a pickle.
Lucky for us, the war here was through,
But then we got into World War II.
To help out over seas, we grew gardens in our yards,
And anything we didn’t eat, we gave to others in jars. -Something about there two verses gives me the pecan (pee-can with trickle and jars) but also the prickly pear (pair with pickle and WWII)
I think that I’ll finish with something from today,
Because we know today is tomorrow’s yesterday.
Even though history may sometimes seem unreal,
You may be making it when you can’t stop honking on the wheel. - Longhorn one of the the state animals

I’m here to ask, would you like to dance?
I’ll lead you in, just give me the chance.
Smooth and easy; from here to there.
Improv to start, neither always nor rare.
Transitions around; do not interrupt me!
From one to another, it seems so easy.
bridge? or segue?

God's Railway = the prefix used for "god" is "theo" and "Ry" is the common abbreviation for railway so "Theory" is the theme. I was also hoping for a bit of misdirection in thinking about religion with "Peter, Paul or Mary" and "desert god"

I assume that you mean light has different speeds in different mediums. Yes, I am aware of that. I even heard that they have used a sort of super dense crystal and lasers to slow down the speed of light to like 20mph. the point is that light has the same speed in the same medium regardless of the speed of the speeds of the objects passing each other. Light speed is the staring point you have to use a factor for the medium as well. Its consistency is why you get things like refraction.i suggest you read up on light, there are different speeds of light
light speed is an out dated and more generalized term

On a Hill is a Green House
In that Green House is a White House
In that White House is a Red House
In that Red House is a bunch of black and white lil Babies.
What am I?
That a greenhouse like for growing vegetabels has a birdhouse or other sort of container inside of it that happens to be white. Inside of the birdhouse some ants or termites have made a home (red house) and their larvae and workers (which are the babies of the queen) are white and black.
