LOL! that was clever. I'll remember that the next time we have a drought and the local police try to issue tickets for wasting water. "But officer, it only looks like I am wasting clean drinking water to hydrate my lawn! When actually, I heavily diluted it using that hose hooked up to the side of my house over there." "Oh, well then, allow me to dilute the paper ticket I am issuing, with even more ink as I add an extra zero digit to the fine." <_< As for the original statement about people dying without water. The world revolves around incentives. Make it worth while to do what you are requesting and it will be done. However, I don't believe in international charity when it does not involve a natural disaster. Freely giving away resources to a country that is already able to produce them actually makes the problem worse, since it eliminates their incentive to develop and improve their conditions. It destroys all incentives for a country to invest to construct refineries and improve themselves if they can get the readily available resource for cheaper than what they can invest to begin producing it. The end result is that the country becomes reliant and the givers of the goods become slave owners of an entire country. Or, as is usually the way things work, the corrupt leaders of the country see this and understand that since they control the import of the free goods, they control the power. So they implement taxes on the importation of these 'free' goods. Which forces the country as a whole into further poverty. And as for minimizing abuse... Why? It's the most abundant resource on the planet. And it's not going anywhere. What qualifies as abuse? Is that water park that you like to go to every summer abusing the resource? But if you are worried about the water coolers alone, then why not just make the water coolers more efficient? Because it's not in the best interest of the company selling that water cooler. The more waste there is, the more often a new water jug will need to be purchased for replacement. They make more money from the waste of water and recycling of the plastic jugs. Which means that the production of the water is cheap and the resource is painfully abundant. The company put in the money to develop the refineries, now they get to reap the rewards. There's nothing wrong with that. Other countries need to have the incentive to do the same.

If I had to guess... Shape Shifter = Ability to restructure molecular configuration to change one's shape into something of similar mass, using the properties of whatever you are made of (carbon and H2O and other stuff )... and probably retaining the presence of a brain. Transformation = Limitless ability to change the actual elemental makeup and shape of oneself, regardless of size or mass.

Telekinesis all the way. I know it's not listed, but it would just be so practical. Imagine, you're sitting on the couch and you don't want to get up to grab the remote. So then it would just rise and levitate to you... But what's that? You don't know where the remote is? Almost forgot, you can hit the 'volume up/down' buttons with your mind! Yeah... the most useful ability used in the most earth-shattering way. I would be the envy of everyone at the super bowl party Also... people don't mention it too much, but if you could move stuff with your mind, then you could also fly.
-
Done. Hopefully you will be able to also pick up Calchus tonight

The only truly negative thing that I can think of is a charge. Magnets, Electrons... Negative is very real. Oh, and most anything that deals with government... the challenge with that is finding the positive
-
It sounds fair except... I can't do that... I need to know from my Achaean friends what they want me to do. Otherwise, I'll just be inactive tonight.
-
Well then... I am awaiting the instructions.

A few other factors are Arm-span, Speed, Height, and ability to jump. (Poles are rated by length and stiffness. Stiffness is related to the weight/strain that they are able to support). So even though a pole may be rated 180lbs, it could still be snapped in half by someone weighing 150lbs if they are strong and fast enough. The speed, weight, height, strength, and jumping ability determine the maximum weight pole that a person could bend. Sergey most likely was using the maximum rated pole for his world record abilities. (He was probably about 160lbs and using a pole rated for 210lbs if I had to guess). I am using the measurement of "pounds" loosely, considering his pole was probably rated in the metric equivalent. Assuming that the world record was performed by a man that maxed out his own human stats relating to his pole's stats... And the fact that his pole was the longest/strongest possible in relation to circumference, a considerably higher jump could not be achieved without the use of a new material. Otherwise, the pole would most likely 1. Be too long to support the strain of a higher jump. or 2. Be too wide/thick to have a grip strong enough to hold onto while bending the pole. I believe that if a different material were used, it could be possible to significantly increase the record... but then again... what would you consider a significant increase?

It seems that we are both in the same boat PT. I refuse to be the voice of my team so long as my team repeatedly chooses not to recruit me. Seriously Achaeans... what's going on? You must know who I am, so who would you like me to choose tonight?
-
Yes, it was good I'm hoping to be voted off and saved again asap ... as soon as I get some rest Another night alive... I don't see how I can survive another one of these. My luck surely cannot last any longer... or can it? Which means that a Trojan may not die tomorrow... plus Athena is back in action, so an Achaean may not die either... I guess tomorrow will be a wash either way, except that the Trojans will get to make an offering to Hermes.
-
Psst... it's a 50% chance that I will die. I could possibly live through it... AGAIN! However, I am not feeling too resilient right now
-
I don't get where the '100%' comes from? Two of you are already dead... maybe even three, so maybe there are only three Trojans remaining... which means that all three of you would need to be lynched in order to recruit Hermes. Which means that if one of you die during the night, then you will probably not be able to recruit Hermes... and something tells me that the odds for all of you surviving for the next three nights seems slightly less than 100% Host: itachi 1) Izzy - voting for Brandonb 2) Prof. Templeton 3) Frost -DEAD 4) dawh - voting for unreality 5) Cherry Lane -DEAD 6) Star Tiger - voting for Brandonb 7) LIS -DEAD 8) SomeGuy 9) Joe's Student 10) GC - voting for unreality 11) PG 12) reaymond 13) impervious -DEAD 14) O'mally 15) unreality - voting for Brandonb 16) Brandonb [Achaean] - voting for unreality 17) Y-San -DEAD [Achaean]

Eh, no need to give it publicly But I do want to say thank you to Athena for saving my butt. I really appreciate it I hope I see the sunrise but I won't hold my breath.
-
So PT... am I dead tonight? Maybe I should leave a final testament...
-
I see what you are referring to. Too bad you are missing a few thing yourself... We're still one step ahead. Remember, obviously not everyone changed their actions in time to get in on the BTSC recruitment (which is why I made a public instruction again). However, those of us that did get into the BTSC will obviously not be performing the actions that I have posted (that would be stupid). Also, since I have posted them all again (as I stated), you do not know which actions will be changed and leave Priam high and dry with no info to be gained from us and which will actually be occurring. So either Priam sticks to his own team, or he MIGHT just get the ID of ONE of us if he is lucky... very lucky... so, that would be a terrible move for Priam. I don't mind divulging this info, b/c it helps to illustrate the extent to which this game is about to turn . Just to clarify to the Achaeans. The role(s) that did not gain BTSC last night need to stick to the plan.
-
Achaeans, please ignore the previous post and stick to the plan.

ALERT TO THE ACHAEANS!!! and Agamemnon in particular! Part 2 1. Tonight Diomedes should attack Frost. 2. Nestor should choose Diomedes 3. Menelaus should choose to save whoever the voice of the Trojans puts the hit against (Currently GC) 4. Agamemnon should guess the three above actions. (So they all gain BTSC) Odysseus should guess: 1. That Priam will guess one (choose one in particular) of the 4 above actions. 2. That Priam will guess one of the actions that the Trojan instructor has suggested. 3. That Priam will guess this current action that I am instructing. (So that Priam will be all-round nullified if he tries to guess ANY of those actions. This is in order for all of the actions to go through safely without Priam learning any IDs OR recruiting anyone for BTSC OR realizing who successfully gained BTSC last night ) we shall see.... I understand that I may die tonight for the sake of organizing my army. But please do not fret fellow Achaeans, it will be my honor.
-
Ok, I have sent in my decision (Fairly obvious I guess) Please Achaeans, await my call... I will have a plan ready for you when the night falls upon us If you stand with me, we shall not fail.

Sorry Ysan, that RIE is not allowed b/c it violates a logical certainty from your previous RIE This post was made before the first post. Which means that you must have had BTSC with Niki in order for that to be a legal RIE. Which means that Ted must have been the MIA. This is not a deliberate misuse of the RIE though, so I will le you rephrase... however ur running out of time 15mins remaining!!!!

You know.... it would be ok if everyone wanted to send in the actions early so I could go ahead and write the post.
