All is right with the world. In some game being played somewhere, Molly is a baddie.

And Trap > Spy > Kill so the baddies get the spy result even if their puppy is killed but not it he is trapped or blocked.

Start with total number of selections. Since order of the companies selected doesn't matter it is a Combination, not a Premutation. So from 7 choose 3 using n!/(r!(n-r)!). 7!/(3! * (7-3)!) = (7*6*5)/(3*2*1) = 35 different combinations. You could go the long way and write out all 35 combinations and count each that have the bad companies. Or there is another way... edit - I am assuming that you can't pick the same company more than once.

No reason to spy the same person twice so I'd go for that. "SECRET ABILITY activated by the death of Drasil. He wears a ring that disguises his intentions. If he is faction spied by Elchra, he appears as a Forest Dweller. If she touches him, however, he appears as Orivior." Super secret ability isn't the faction spy cloak right? If different then you might want to move the secret ability comment to the end of the sentence for clarity.

Because of the extraordinary magic, however, anyone spied by Guidry cannot be lynched or killed the following day and night." If lynched is their role revelled? If not this would be a great save for baddies in exchange of a spy.

I believe he was mentioning that although it was meant to replace Death Note, there wasn't a review for it.

Just because we are not available to play doesn't mean we aren't interested in mafia. I'm asking questions because if I'm unsure I figure at least one other person might be too and because I'm interested in the game development side. Always looking for ideas that might be interesting to think about.

Wouldn't preventing maurice or Molly from playing set a precedent? Other hosts would then have a basis for preventing other people from playing in their games. So... Can the host prevent individuals from playing in their game? If so is there criteria involved or is it by the host's whim? --- If maurice and Molly are allowed to sign up and play a game played in this forum then they should be allowed to ask game related questions to assist in deciding if they wish to play.

But the goodies aren't supposed to be able to recognize each other. What is the point if most of the goodies know who the other goodies are so early in the game? As for Aura not having to claim vanilla? She wouldn't have had she known that Klue gave you all the ability to recognize each other. Claiming vanilla is the safest move for the baddies since claiming a specific role would lead to counter and at best for the baddies a trade of players. And since the baddies don't have the players to avoid a trade...it is back to claiming vanilla.
